Today is my "exam" (basically like a regular quiz, but weighted more). I'm actually not freaking out about it, even though I hated "Paradise" (well, I only disliked it because of the way this guy teaches) and I don't remember a lot from either book (the other being "Blood Meridian"). Last class meeting (Thursday) I was flipping out, but I've calmed down. For that, I am very happy. I'm hoping that I'll go into the test, calm and collected, and hopefully that mind set will help me remember more. I prepared a study sheet of sorts, based on the things that the professor told us to review; my coworker saw that I typed up a study sheet and called me a dork--maybe that's why I'm on the Provost's list every year and she had to drop out? (Harsh, I know, but I did get socked in the arm by her for saying it.) He said it'll be 17 questions per book, and we have to answer 12 for each book. I've had my coffee, and I'm ready to go.
Oh, also, my ferrets made me laugh. I tell ya', if you're having depression symptoms or anything like that (which I think I was/am), get yourself some ferrets. They're hilarious little pets, despite whatever rumors you may have heard about them.

As you can see, they are fairly messy eaters (the little brown spots are kibble crumbs; the white spot to the left is from Tempe, the brown one, digging at the fluff inside the bed).
