from the miserable sod that brought you the original Vent thread comes the next masterpiece. What made you happy today... come on people. Life aint that bad! What made you happy today?

I will start.. for years (literally!) I have searched for one painting and a place where it could be purchased. I gave up. All hope was lost. Then tonight WHAM! (and not the george micheals band!) all of a sudden there it was.. I will not let it pass thru my fingers again. Ergo.. I'm happy.

I went shopping today. And bought a shirt. Which is nice.

I went shopping today and I bought a ridiculously expensive scarf. Well, 17 euros. Which is, even for me having a serious scarf addiction, quite a lot. But damn, it's pretty ^^^
Also, I downloaded a bunch of meat loaf songs. That also makes me happy.

I laughed at my son after he took his bath and refused to wear anything except his diaper and his coat. We also boxed. He likes to pretend to hit you and goes "pow pow pow" at you. It's funny.

He also used the potty 3 times. Super happy.

This thread came at a perfect time. Here's a little story of today.

I was working 9:45-6. i am a Disney Cast Member at the World of Disney in New York City. We are all about making magic for guests but i met a girl who made MY day.

I was being grumpy, looong day, ready to gohome, and i was wandering in our Nightmare before Xmas section we have for halloween, and she was looknig at stuff but nobody was helping her. She was in a wheelchair and it looked to me she had muscular dystrophy. So we started talking, iwas recommending some things, and we went off on a whole conversation about Nightmare, and she was such a sweet heart. Turns out she goes to a college right across Central Park from mine, and shes graduating in spring and i am this fall. So we start talking about that.

Then i rang her up, and told her to wait, because we give out these special Tinkerbell pins for "magic moments". I gave her one and told her she really made my day. She told me that now i had made hers, and she gave me a big hug and told me her name was Jennifer, and she said she'd stop by again to see me.

Seriously, she made me so happy,we joked and laughed and she put me in a good mood. And she was SUCH a happy person and to see someone dealing with such a situation and yet they seem so content really makes you appreciate things.

I get the most stupid things stuck in my mind. Lately it was Selig´s name. I had no clue where it came from and it bugged me. But now I found out so that made me happy. The small things in life...

Strangely enough me and my dad attempting to buy him some AC/DC tickets and getting nowhere. I found it quite funny attempting to be one to get some but they sold out within 5 minutes. :lmao:

I woke up this morning next to a wonderful loving lady with a very warm puppy curled up between our feet, both snoring softly. The sun was shining, and I could actually hear a bird singing on the feeder outside our bedroom window. What more could a man ask for?

I went on a school trip today to the British Library, and me and my mate came across the funniest book ever in the shop. We were laughing the entire way home on the train over it. She bought it for me for my birthday so we can laugh at it some more.

It's a list of funny but true British names. Some of them are actually hilarious. A tame example would be 'Seymour Butt' *sniggers*
