O's beat the Twins! It was a 11-0 shut out. The guys wh sat behind me were really nice and we joked around the whole game. Luke Scott was also looking fine! Seeing all of those guys running around in tight pants reminded me of Captin Malcolm Reynolds. 😀
 
Finishing work for the Easter weekend, I thought this day wasn't going to come when I started the crazy and manic week. Oh and we got free sweets from a lurvely supplier, perfectamundo! 😀
 
I don't have class today so I'm spending the whole day watching Veronica Mars hopefully doing some art stuff and chillin' in the house that I have to myself. I also don't have anything to do tomorrow, so I'll be doing the same thing then. Except I'll most likely be done with VM, and I'll probably just start over.
 
I went back to my old choir today and got to sing loads of my favourite pieces during the Maundy Thursday service. It was like coming home all over again 🙂
 
Oh my god, I am just so happy to be alive right now.

I am a VERY LIGHT SLEEPER and even after a 3 hour skype call with two of my best friends, I woke up to the sound of popcorn. Only it wasn't popcorn, it was my lamp exploding. Not literally- it was just throwing sparks across the room and making a loud popping noise.

I was so scared, I froze and it was just my body and my instinct that really took over. I got out of bed, and ran down the hall yelling, "Fire! Fire!" until everyone woke up. My parents went to see it, and the lamp had stopped throwing sparks, but my room was cloudy from smoke and ashes were all over... it was still early in the morning, so after we unplugged the lamp and moved it somewhere else and made sure nothing ELSE was on fire, I moved out to the living room for the rest of the night.

We examined the lamp a little while ago, there was some sort of mechanical failure while the lamp was OFF, which is just double scary. I'm still freaked, and so, so happy to be alive, even if the smoke made me sick- I'm a little dizzy and have a headache.

I'm just really happy I'm a light sleeper now, cause I think it saved my life.

WOW, I'm SO glad you're alright.
I looked at a Mustang GT yesterday, and when I saw what the dealer was going to give me in trade for my Nissan, i didn't just smile, I laughed right out loud. (Needless to say, my faithful Nissan and I haven't parted company, and aren't likely to anytime soon)

I recently got one of my friends into Buffy and Angel after months of trying desperately to convert someone into a Buffy fan. She's finishing the fifth season of Angel right now and is LOVING it. Anyway, we were sitting in English class today and my teacher coincidentally used the phrase 'The Powers That Be'. We both just looked at each other and started laughing. I love small fangirl moments like this!
