What Marti Noxon Is Up TO

Brothers and Sisters creator/producer Rob Baitz comments on Marti's leaving.

As for the departure of Noxon, who declined to comment for this story, Baitz says that "I think her intentions were very good and I think she's hugely talented, and I love her writing and I love her voice. But we came from different approaches and they clashed again and again, and I think perhaps she perceived me as being a threat to, frankly, a smooth way of running a television show. And I suppose in some ways, `guilty.' But I have nothing but respect for her. I differed on methodology and I differed on perhaps the size of the vision."

I e-mailed Marti Noxon once and she replied, she said she was developing two dramas for ABC. Perhaps neither was picked up because that was last pilot season, but both of them were just regular dramas...I bet they'd have loads of sex. lol

But I wish she'd do another supernatural soap...not LIKE PP or as focused on the superficial aspects of a soap, but like Dark Shadows...I think she'd do a good job.

And I really hope Sam Raimi produces the script she's writing for him.

That's really cool, although I hope she doesn't become a permanant member of the Grey's staff...I *really* want to see her do her own projects.
