What Mythological Creature Are You?

I'm a Erinyes..........what ever they are?? I'm with you Can't Even Shout. Any ideas?

Funny thing is I've always been obssessed with the legend of the phoenix (not the jean grey one!)

Erinyes
The Punisher of the Unfaithful
Originally called Erinys... later called, Erinyes. Referred to as, "the mist-walking..." and, with fear and respect, "the kindly one". She would harass and injure her prey but not kill them. Homer refers to her in the singular (The Odyssey, 15.234) but, much later (circa 450 B.C.E.), Euripides used the number 'three' and eventually 'they' assumed the names: Tisiphone, Megaera and Alecto. Their brass wings made escape impossible, their ripping claws made their torment relentless and horrible.

We often confuse 'them' with the Roman goddesses, the Furiae (Furies).

Naid or Nereid is any one of the sea nymphs, the 50 daughters of Nereus and Doris. (also the name of one of Neptune's moons)
 
what the falk is a wood nymph....sounds like a gurl who sleeps around in the woods...how does this fit the soulgasm??
 
that basicaly sums up a wood nymph! lol gasm... oh an you plant seeds an keep the trees alive. oh oh! not only do you sleep around the woods you skip around it also! i dont know if there are male kinds ::huh!:: ... well you can be the first! teehee
 
wood nymphs were the spirits of the forests; they were thought to live in the trees, and come out and protect the forest; when the trees "whispered" when they rustled, it was the wood nymph's talking. Highly romantic figures who often enchanted men in the forests, very light hearted creatures.

BuffyUKer; I studied Keats and other romantic poets at A Level; Keats used the allegory of naiads in "Lamia" I think, Erinyes is also mentioned.

The Gryffin is a half dragon half bird creature, not usually considered evil, but certainly a meddler. And I know Gryffen from my "Puddle Lane" books as a child 😀
