I just read dan_k's post, about Sarah getting back to ICM (https://www.buffy-boards.com/showthread.php?t=50819 and was wondering, if Sarah does come back to work soon, what would you prefer: her being on a new TV show, or a good looking, friendly movie?

(by the way, I didn't know whether I should ask this question at the other thread, or open a new one. So hope it's alright!)
 
Hmm, I don't know. Whichever would work with her schedule as a new mom I guess LOL, and would give us some good material. Just please, no more horror movies. I would've loved to have seen her in some kind of superhero movie (Avengers, Joss?), but I'm sure she'll probably try to avoid those so as to branch out a bit.

Right! Enough of that (horror movies). Maybe she thinks that's what she does best, or something....
And even though I would love to see her in a hit movie, please no 'Twilight'! (sorry if I offend any Twilight fans here, I just can't stand trends such as this, that's just who I am...).
 
I always will choose seeing my favorite actors (including Sarah) on TV. I loveTV because you connect with the charcters and as the writers see how the actors play their characters they can develop the characters for the actor's strengths. I just live TV better.
 
I'd say movies because it would be better for her career if she could get back in the spotlight but what I want most of all is for her to pick up another strong female role.
 
Anything successful would be good. In saying that i'd lean to want to see her in a television show simply because it gives her greater exposure for a longer period of time. Plus like Zobo said you can build up a love for the character.

Also it would be good to see her on a regular basis rather than a couple of movies every year.
 
I'd love to see her in a sitcom, only a GOOD one this time.

Uhm, I'd say movies. It would be good to her career and she chose really good projects, almost all the time so I'm feeling confident saying she should do movies.
 
A tv show would be better as we would see her more regulary but she needs to do some big movies and be like the only women you remember from the film, e.g Prince of Persia, Clash of the Titans, Inception ... They all feature memorable performances by a female lead surrounded by male.

Off topic here but Clash Of The Titans was a massive let down for me and i didn't think the female lead's performance was memorable.

Oh yes COTT was a letdown, but I think Gemma Arterton is a great actress.

Clash of the Titans was awful. I cannot believe I paid full price to watch that.
I have to say that nowadays I'm enjoying TV better than movies, too. Heck, I wouldn't mind her even having a really great re-occurring guest spot on a great TV show. (I loved NPH in Glee!).
 
I would prefer her in a tvshow (would die if she went on True Blood somehow) since we can see her more and get to see her develop more.
 
I would love to see Sarah in something serious and oscar worthy. Something directed by a well respected director. Otherwise it would be cool to hear Sarah do some voice work, like in a big budget, fun animation.

It would definitely be cool to see her in a TV show. It could be something serious like Bones, or something fun and silly like HIMYM.

I wouldn't mind seeing her in a horror movie, but it would have to be a good horror movie. Like, REALLY good.
 
I really don't want to see her in another horror movie. I'd love for to go back to tv, something Whedon related.

As for movies, I think she would do well with a comedy or a drama.
 
With the rumors of her and Alyson working together and this it sounds like Sarah might be ready to come back to her buffy days

I would love to see her do comedy, I think she'd be great at it and she doesn't smile enough in movies as it is 😀

She was supposed to have a show on HBO but I have not heard anything more of it.

Now it says TV movie darn guess it didn't get picked up.

I actually loved Sarah in horror movies but the ones in the 90's over today's. I would just hope she doesn't go there because today it is hard to make a seriously good horror movie.
