So my sister's being super nice and is offering to buy me a new phone, but I'm not sure which one to get 🙂
What's the best phone to have in your opinion?

I have a new Nokia, and I love that battery life on it, ok it's not quite what the old Nokias had but not having to constantly charge my phone is great. Overall though I don't think the design of phones really vary much anymore, especially between Android phones.

Battery life is very important :)

With the catphone you get 38 hours of talk time and 44 DAYS of standby.
It can be dropped from five feet onto concrete and survive.
It can withstand being submerged in 7 feet of water for an hour and still survive.

It's a beast.

If your sister is buying get the iPhone X. Sell it for a ridiculous amount of money, buy a decent android for between £100-300 and put the rest towards a holiday 🙂

Hmm I've never heard of a Catphone before, those do sound like cool features plus nobody I know has one. I'd be rare 😀

They've a model with a FLIR camera... the only smartphone with a FLIR... so you could even use it to go ghost hunting.

Well that's exciting, and to think everyone's impressed by face ID 😎

It is lucky phones will still call 911 without being shut down by facial recognition otherwise a mugging would keep you from calling for help:

There are a lot of weaknesses to facial ID, for one thing somebody could just hold your phone up to your face and voila they're in...but I'm glad 911 can still be called anyway 🙂

So, what country do you live in, what sort of phone do you want? Mobile or a fixed in house phone, what coverage do you have? How much money are you willing to spend.
It is usually cheaper to buy pre-paid cards that get a 24 month plan with the carrier.
Always read the fine print in any contract you sign, always treat salespeople as just having been released from a 10 year sentence from prison for breaches of the sales laws.
