What piercings do you have?

Inspired by the 'Buffy's Earrings' thread (which I'd link to, but can't on my phone, sorry! 😛). I have eleven piercings in all - 3 lobe piercings in my left ear (the first one stretched a tiny bit, to 2mm), plus conch and tragus, then on my right ear, 4 lobes, my tragus and a snug ^^ I'm hoping to get an industrial/scaffold in my left ear at some stage, and my left nostril. What about you guys? Or are you averse to piercing? ^^

I used to have one in my lip, but it kept falling off and kept getting stuck behind my teeth (ouch), so I didn't have the energy to keep it in. I have 3 piercings in my left ear and 2 in my right, but when I use earrings I usually don't even have 2 earrings, just one (my white flamingo or my pink parrot 😀)

Three earrings in each ear, navel, and eyebrow. So 8 for me. I got all the piercings I want. 🙂 (Tattoos on the other hand is a different story.)

I used to have my septum, left side of my nose, serval ear lobe on each ear and cheek piercings. I took these out when i was 16 though as i grew up lol.

I just have my ears single pierced. But I am getting them double pierced for my 16th birthday, and then will hopefully get a third hole in my right ear.

I have tired to pierce my belly button, and cartilage many times but my mom always comes home after I have everything starilized and ready to go....

My ear lobes are each pierced twice. The first hole is stretched to a zero gauge (I think that is a little over 8mm?). Top of my left ear is done but I never wear it. My eyebrow is done but I don't wear it anymore either. Usually the only jewelry I wear is my wedding ring set and tunnels in my ears.

I don't have any piercings. I don't like the thought of having a hole in my ear, plus the process sounds too painful for me (I'm a wimp).

I only have in my ears. The first 2 holes were made when I was a baby. I added 3 more because I wanted it like SMG's. I would love to pierce the upper part of my ear, but I hear it's dangerous.

Oh, gosh, no, PLEASE don't ever try to pierce yourself -- so many things can go wrong; you might hit a nerve, and permanently damage/paralyse part of your body, or you could hit a blood vessel, to say nothing of the many various foreign objects you might inadvertently introduce into your blood stream (even if you sterilise the needle/etc.).

I don't mean to be a goody-two-shoes, or whatever, but piercings, especially belly-button ones, and cartilage (where there is less blood flow, and it's easier to get infections) are best done by professional piercers with certification.

You should defs get it done! It's only dangerous if done by an unqualified piercer in an unhygienic way -- and as long as you take proper care of it afterwards, there shouldn't be a problem.

I still have tiny tiny little scars! You can hardly see them though! I realise they look slightly uneven in the picture but its just the angle lol

I have NO piercings or tatoos. I have had my ears pierced four times, but they would always get infected or close up overnight if I took my earrings out. I finally gave up! You can still see a couple of the indents where the holes used to be. I haven't worn earrings in over ten years.

I also had my belly button pierced when I was 16 and kept it up until I got married. I wanted the hole to heal before I had kids, plus I got sick of spending $$ for jewelry for it. Oddly enough, this piercing never got infected once! I have an indentation on the top where the hole was, though the hole is completely closed.

Mine also get closed up almost overnight. That's why I never take them off. When I want to put in, say, hoops, I just insert them into the holes that already have earings (because the usual ones are small). Yes, 2 earings in one hole.

I've got my ears pierced. I am saving up to get another set.

I used to have my navel pierced but . . . I also have a Jack Russell terrier. And one day, he kinda, sorta ripped it out . . . So that's gone.

I wanted to get my tongue done but my husband hates tongue piercings so I didn't get it. It's still a dream though.

I just have a few on each lobe but I'm getting a cartilage piercing soon and maybe an ear cuff if I find one I like. I don't think I could ever get anything other than my ears pierced though. I'm too much of a wimp! 😀

Both lobes, left cartilage, left tragus. I love my tragus piercing. I'm always playing with it. I really want an industrial on my right ear..

My sister has one (industrial), she did it herself. My parents told her no, so she did it herself. It looks great, but she was really lucky. I don't suggest anyone try to pierce themselves. She also did her own nose. She did that in the bathroom at school. It was quite the show... Don't do that one on your own either.
