I think a lot of people have a 'go to' season Of BtVS that they tend to watch more than others. Perhaps because the episodes are your favourite or your favourite characters have more screen time in that season I don't know. I was just thinking about putting some Buffy on and chilling before work and it got me thinking. I always go to season 3 when I watch random Buffy. Mostly because it's my favourite season and a lot because I love Faith. So I was wondering which season do you watch repeatedly and why?

Funnily enough, for me it's season 7.

Probably because I like soulful Spike. And Andrew. And "selfless".

Although, I'm kinda itching to do a full rewatch from season 1.

season 7 karma!
Enemies, I have to agree with you and say season 3. I too like the entire Faith storyline in season 3. I also really enjoy the start of the season, where Buffy is having to fit back into everything. I think the cast was strongest in season 3, and I liked the dynamic between the group, and that Giles was still really important to the show. If that's not reason enough, Graduation day 1+2 are my favorite finale episodes!

Season 1 or 2. Because the Master and Angelus are some of the best big bads in the series (in my opinion of course.) Plus I've got some good memories attatched to those seasons 🙂

I find myself watching a lot of Season 7 and 5 without realising it. But going back and watching season 2 and 3 is always really fun.

I mostly watch Season 1 and Season 2. I don't exactly know why. They just make me feel comfortable. My favorite season, however, is Season 6, but I don't want to watch some random season 6 episodes. I feel like I have to watch it all in order.

I've probably watched S7 the most because I got it on VD first (like a year before S6 and 2-3 years before the others). But it's a tie between S7 and S2. I love both equally, for totally different reasons.

But if I go for a random episode, OMWF, Tabula Rasa and Earshot are my favorite.

I have watched season 1 more than any other. Partly because I don't always finish everything when I start a rewatch and partly because back in the day, when season 1 was the only one available on VHS, I watched the hell out of it.

I think I watch S1 the most. It isn't my favorite season of the show, but I really like it, and as soon as I begin watching it I'm itching to get to S2 and S3. Still, it's always fun to watch the series opener and "The Harvest".

I watch Season 5 the most. Episodes like "The Body" and "The Gift" are the ones when I want to watch random Buffy...

I don't have a special season that way. I never watch random episodes.

These days I do long rewatches. Can take weeks between each episode at times but whenever I feel like I want to watch an episode of BtVS I just continue wherever I left off.

/SK

It used to be season 6, because I could relate to it more than any other season, but nowadays, it's all about season 1. Life's already hard enough, and I don't always want a constant reminder of it, so the cheesy, light-weight awesomeness of the first is the best kind of medicine. 🙂

Well said.
I watch season 2, 4 and 6 the most

Season 2 = I love Angelus
Season 4 = I love the collage eps and Tara
Season 6 = I love that its dark/depressing and I can relate to it

Seasons 1 and 2, they're just the most emotionally connected to me I guess. I love other seasons as well, but those two are just special and never grow old.

Season 2 and 3 are the ones I watch the most. I love the Angelus and Faith storylines, I also love the Bangel moments in both series.

Now I tend to do full rewatches of the entire show rather than just watch my favorite seasons.

Season 6 and 7 are my most watched seasons--though both include episodes that I tend to skip over. "Doublemeat Palace", "Hell's Bells", "Beneath You" and "Lies My Parents Told Me", for example.
