Thanks. Honestly, I think it's just a cowardly thing to do. I'd way rather a girl shoot me down and say no if I ask her out then say yes, give me her number and make it seem like things are moving, when really they're just too scared to say no. That's weak. I mean, why make someone feel like crap when you don't have to?

Exactly. I've had it happen to me a few times and the feeling you get afterwards is much worse than how you would have felt if they'd just have said no right off the bat. It's such a cop-out. They're just trying to make themselves feel better by trying to not be mean. If only they realised what they're doing makes it much worse.
