I don't know if others would, but I count "courtroom" shows (like Judge Judy). It's typically a contest. But the beauty of it is if you're declared guilty of something, the SHOW pays whatever fine and not you! A brilliant way to escape punishment from my misdeeds and/or making sure you get paid after the other pretends to be a scumbag.
That's on top of a free vacation to whatever city it's recorded in! (Maybe I could find a real crime to do while there...)
Heck, maybe I'd arrange for a crime just so we could get a free vacation...I read an interview where some faked being enemies to get on Jerry Springer, seems easy enough to do with one of the entertainment court shows. One of their best vacations, and they had a blast pretending to be violently dysfunctional on the show. Good thing they were faking as they were made to fly on the same plane in and out of the city!
