Question What Spin Off Shows Would You Have Liked?

It can be related to BtVS/AtS or none related. (By none related i mean that you can have the characters, but any previous story lines don't have any effect, so for example you could have SMG and DB together in a relationship, but anything in BtVS or AtS wouldn't be a part of it)

None related, i think the Bangel in me (lol) would have like to have seen something with SMG and DB together, in a short or long running series. (Still holding a bit of hope that SMG and DB will be in something together again)


I think something with Giles and Oz could have worked. Maybe even Willow & Faith in it as well. Could have been set as an oldern day folklore theme. Maybe a bit like Van Helsing? (Not to disimilar to the movie, only set out as a series)


I also think that something with the Initiative in could have gone down well. Have Adam as the main enemy and give him a much bigger role than BtVS. Not sure how that could have worked out over a series though as it probably would have been seen as another BtVS.

Opinions? Anything you would have liked? Or still hope makes it to the screens in time?
 
I'd have loved it if Spike got his own spin off, with Clem and Lorne maybe involved. Drusilla could come back in some form as well.
 
Yeah a Spike spin off would have been awesome!

I would have liked one that had Illyria actually, that was after the end of Angel season 5.

And Clem would be awesome to have around as well.
 
A series with Faith and Willow in charge of a Slayer training camp, with Spike helping them with the "ladies," and Illyria as a permanent resident taking care of her "pet." Occasionally (like just about every week) one or the other of the local Slayer teams scattered all over the world run into something too powerful for them to handle, so Faith and the others have to go and bail them out. Buffy now happily retired, but several times a year she gets bored and drops by to see how things are going, and to get in a little "sparring" time with Spike, ususlly resulting in another house falling down.

Plot Outline: Set after NFA. After ensouled vampires Angel and Spike, as a well has their comrade Charles Gunn fall in the climax of the battle, only Illyria remains. Consumed with equal amounts of anger and grief, the Old One plots to remove Wolfram & Hart's hold on Wesley's soul. Turned away by the untrusting Watcher's Council, Illyria seeks the assistance of Faith. Together, the two will form their own side to wage war on the Senior Partners and even finding time to help the hopeless along the way.

Meanwhile, Wesley must obey Wolfram & Hart's every command, helpless as he realizes this will be his eternity.

It takes place in the alternate universe of The Wish. Lots of Vamp Willow goodness and lots of dead slayers. 😛

I love it, I really want it, and now that I've heard of it...it wont go away!
I wanted to see where Spike would have went. I read rumors of a mini movie series, but then that fell through because James gave Joss 10 years (I think?) to play the part because of his age (at the time). It could have been really good especially if it explored a possible relationship with Illyria. Ripper sounded like a good idea too, young Giles in England with anarchist young Ethan Rayne.
 
I would have loved to see a Faith and Giles spin off. I never agreed with Wesleys death either so I think something after NFA for Wes would be nice. I really like the plot that @TheScourge mentioned, I'd definitely watch that.
 
I'd have enjoyed a Spike show with Xander as his sidekick. Or a Xander show with Spike as his sidekick. It would be pretty neat and bold and creative to have the title of the show not have super powers.
 
I read an article about what Joss should do after The Avengers.
They mentioned that he once thought about a spin-off with Spike, Willow and Fred in it.
I really like that idea. I wish he would do something like that!
 
What about Spike Giles and Faith. Maybe Harmony. They could show us more about Ripper and Spike. They can open a new side of Faith if they want to. It's all open. But I want to see mor Rippergiles!!
 
I don't think Spike is the main star type, but it would have made a cool story arc if Dru was the main villain and wanted Spike dead if he had his own mini series for awhile.
 
A romantic comedy staring Spike, Wesley and the split personality of Fred and Illyria. Spike and Wesley vowing for the love of two women in one body. Hilarity ensues.
 
My first instinct would be saying Spike. But... I don't really want that for a Spuffy reason. If Spike is on his own show, no Spuffiness. Like with Angel. A big part of my love for the show is because of the interaction between Buffy and Spike. Can't lose that.
