Nothing really springs to mind, but I really hate being called British. I see myself as English. British always seems like a snobbish word to me :S
Though...British can be used to refer to the English, Scottish and Welsh, right?

I prefer British to English 'cause I see it as including Scotland, Wales and N.Ireland and I like to be a part of that, but at the same time I don't think some of them want to be British so it probably doesn't work 😛 I always put British on forms. But my family is sort of all over the UK so I feel it's more inclusive of that than sticking to just English. I think it's just personal preference though.
What springs to mind? Ermmm, nothing much. Fish and chips? Damn I could do with a chip butty right now. I don't think classy accents 'cause I've heard too many of our accents that are far from classy 😛

I like being British and identify with that more than English. Being British is about being part of a melting pot of cultures, not just Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. I love the diversity we have here and how you can go around the corner and end up engrossed in a whole other culture.

Well my mum did her PhD on English migrants into Australia throughout the 80's so I think of that. And I think of walking through the rain in Liverpool eating curry and chips. And English Premier League.

Nothing special really, just anything from Great Britain. God I'm old. I should say United kingdom shouldn't I? I do say (the) UK at least. Or do any of this exclude Northern Ireland? What did I learn at school and what do I remember correctly? :blush:

Great Britain is just England, Scotland and Wales. 😛

We're currently examining this at university. I think it's very strange that Wales isn't represented on the Union Jack, and also does not have a place on a British passport.
