Karma is what we give people who write good posts or how we let people know that we agree or disagree with their posts. If you look at the top of the posts in any thread you will see either a set of scales or a tick and a cross if you click that in a persons post it lets you give them karma. Your Karma has increased from 10 to 14 as someone has given you some karma check in the user control panel to see who and why. Hope that helps.

You can rate other members posts (by clicking on the icon at the top right of posts). All your ratings combine to your reputation (symbolized by the green jewel in your posts). You may leave comments (such as "I totally agree!") which will be displayed in posts. Please use this rather than actually posting short messages like "I agree" that don't really add tothe discussion itself, but allow you to express your support / disagreement for the person.
