What the Hell is Willow Wearing?

I never really saw an issue with anything Willow wore. It seemed rather normal to me. I am sure 20 years from now people will be laughing at what is being worn on TV today.
 
Willow's every-colour-of-the-rainbow tights with adidas was so my thing.
 
Buffy didn't fare much better in the wardrobe department. From hokey overalls to distressing print dresses, they even managed to make Buffy look bad. But Willow as a nerd - yeah, they used clothes to emphasize a lot of that.
 
I loved Willows (mildly) quirky style. 🙂 Also, looking at all those pictures I don't think Willow looked any worse than any other characters.
 
Willow realizes her wardrobe does not project the right image in "The Body 5ABB16":

No, I think... I should wear the purple,

I think it's royal. Purple means royalty.

WILLOW
Well I can't see Buffy at the morgue

of everything, I'm better than you..."
(tearing up again)
I have to be supportive, Buffy needs
me to... why do so many of my shirts
have stupid things on them? Can't I
dress like a grown up, can't I be...
be a grown up...

After this, her wardrobe seems to be a little less juvenile, although she never becomes stylish. But that's OK, it's Willow.
