Have you ever woken up in the morning and thought "What the..."?

This doesn't exactly mean drinking your face off and passing out, only to wake up in some abandoned hotel room with someone you cannot remember for the life of you... Simply, anything that made you think those two words...

Could be, a weird dream, a sudden memory... Or yes, drunken blackouts.

What is your "What the..."?

fun thread amber!

well, acouple of drunkenblack outs and morning afters(not as in you example though LOL) the frist time i met my boyf, i was really drunk, and he and his frinds had driven me home.. the nexted day i woke up my bedroom window was open wide, i was half dressed and i couldn't remembered how the heck i got home.. or how i could even have half un dressed.. LOL then i thought about it for a long while (at the same time i was so confused 😉) and then it came back to me (lol my family REALLY reminded me by telling me what i'd said and done when i came home.. oh the shame LOL)

i've had more of those though.. wakeing up in my bed not knowing how the heck i got there... once i had a cold, and my brother asked me if i wanted to come down to a friend of ours house, they were a few people who was hanging out drinking beer and so on, and i said sure.. so i went down there, had a bottle of wine, and i got some beers(oh and kinda stole a beer as well) adn when it came time to walk down town to this pub we still hang out at (well when we're going out...) i went home. i couldn't remember half of the way home and i could not remember how i got into bed... again pretty much dressed.

or once i was at a after consert kind of a party. and i blacked out.. "woke up" about 3-5 hours later and everyone had gone home exept my brother.. and there was thrash every where(my brother and best friend had a fight about fish... and my bro threw the ash tray on the floor... *laughs* ) well it was like 5 am and our mom ordered us home, she told us to take a cab...

lol those 'what the...' feel so bad when they happen, so confusing.. specialy when i know my self as drunk, it can get ugly, and back then(like 3-4 years ago, when these three incidents happend, it often wasn't a pretty pickture :cocktail: :drunk:

:lmao: hihihi, but i had a good time and thats what counts right LOL

I've had a couple of these moments. Normally the morning after a drunken night out. I'll wake up half naked in my bed wondering how the hell I got there and who the hell undressed me.

One of those nights was when I was out with my cousin on a night out. It was just the 2 of us in a couple of pubs in my home town. We went to this club afterwards and I got pretty drunk. I think I remember it being closing time but I remember nothing after that. I was told that we walked a good way to a petrol garage to get some food. I had demanded a hot dog and then decided not to eat it. We got a taxi home and on the way into the house I walked straight into the fence. So that's where that bruise came from...

I didn't like being that drunk. It wasn't nice waking up in the morning to find that I couldn't remember half of what had happened. It's kinda funny now though.

I've had a couple of moments where I've woken up from dreams with a horrible feeling that it was all real. Sometimes it takes me a good 10 mins to actually come back to reality. It's not pleasant when that happens especially when it's a bad dream.

ya i normally wake up feeling like the dreams were real and its like what is going on..... and then i have a bad feeling for like an hour before it finially goes away.... Luckily i've never really woken up drunk and not know what was going on

In my post-pregnanacy days.... there were many a "what-the-****"!!!! You always have to cut loose and have a good time, but the morning after a particularly nice night filled with many drinks is not so fun or necessary.

It's usually.... how the heck did I get home? Normally it was my boyfriend (at the time) that would drive me home... but sometimes he would be just as gone as I was, and we had no clue how we got home. Usually through the grapevine we'd find out that someone drove us home (and bless it we talked to them the whole way home and into our room! Who woulda thunk?)

But, now those days are over.

Yea... I never get that drunk.. Or, I usually remember everything and stuff. I can only "remember" two times where I can't remember all.. One was when I got the scars on my chin... That was like "What the hell, why's there a hole through my lip/chin?!"... The other time involved me, some guy and a hotel room, uh.. But yea, I know that nothing yucky happened though... heh.. (I remember most of that but it was still a "What the.."-feeling 'cause I was still kinda asking myself that question when I woke up...)

I've got blackout that make mewake up like that too only it's not alcoholic related. Mostly it's because I've been sleeping in so many different places & sometimes I lost the track... like I wake up & for 2 seconds I'm like "Where the Hell am I?" ... then it all comes back & I realize if I have to get up a hurry (school) or if I can relax (a friend's flat) & if I have to get stressed out about the day (some other place) & so on... lol, I like to move & all but sometimes my brain betray me, lmao :hihi:

*hugs FF* i've felt like that a time or two as well...
Sometimes I've had that experience. Not in an alcohol induced stupor.

More like Frenchy Faith's.... sometimes after sleeping back in my apartment after spending Holiday break or Spring Break at home, I'm very confused. I'm thinking that when my alarm goes off, I'm still in my room and home, but when I walk over to turn it off, I then realize that I'm in my room at my apartment. It's then that I'm like... "What the...." "Oh, yeah, I remember."

It's very disorientating.

Yea, I often get the wake-up "What the..." :confused3 Usually it's after I had drank a lot... Like a couple weeks ago I fell asleep in my roomates bed while we were talking (a little too loudly), and I woke up in my own bed in the morning... Not knowing when I had transfered... OR I tend to wake up and think I'm late for work/school... That happens on a regular basis...

The most common one is when I have a really good dream... About someone or something I want... And then I wake-up to find I don't actually have them/it... Really dissappointing...

I've done that before... I mean dream about something I want and wake up without it. It can leave you really empty. I don't like it much at all.
I sort of had the What the? last morning.. I woke up, early, I stumbled out of bed and tried to put on some clothes when I hear something scratching on the door and then I hear some sounds that makes me come to the conclusion that there is a dog on the other side of the door. Since I don't have a dog I really start to wonder what he/she is doing there, or if I'm not really awake or something.. But then I stumble out to the livingroom where I find one of my boyfriends friend on the coutch and then I remember being asked if it's okey if he and his dog spent the night..

Sometimes I wake up and go "What the... why are my pants missing...?"

I still have no idea. :confused1

LMAO! Gotta say I've never done that.
To be honest, I always have a "what the..."-feeling when I wake up. I am extremely confused when I wake up. I always believe I'm doing something, like talking to someone on MSN, and that my alarm is telling me I have new messages or something... And I always believe that my alarm clock is my computer, which makes things so difficult 'cause there's only one button on the clock so I never know how to type.. (Um yea, and they call me an internet-addict?)

I also never know what day it is when I wake up, or what I'm supposed to do. I usually lie in my bed, freaking out, really trying to remember if I have school or what time 08.00 really is, but it takes me like 15 minutes to become a "normal" person...

Yeah the "What the.." waking up feeling is familiar. So much stuff have happened the last year that sometimes when I close my eyes and am half asleep I have no idea where I am or if I do I always think I'm somewhere I'm not. It's like certain sounds makes me think I'm at my grand parents place other at home or at my friends place. And sometimes I think I'm at my own place, but then I happen to be somewhere else. It can be really confusing at times.

Re:

I'm with ya AB...most of my "What the-" experiences are due to dreams....
But I've had a few drunken mishaps that I not only woke up the next day saying "What the ***!" But "When the ****!"
For example....A New Years Eve party I attended with my boyfriend when I was like 18....Drank....ALOT. Was there with my boyfriend (at the time) and passed out next to him on my friends bed. When the sun rose the next morning he was nowhere around, and I was in bed...um, well, undressed, with my boyfriends best friends girlfreind. LOL. Yeah......Um,, yeah. *shrug* :embaresse

The other day I fell asleep in the living room on the couch and woke up on my bed in my room. I still have no idea how I got there, but my hubby swears I just got up and walked in! Does that count as a "What the-" moment? 😀

Oh, I forgot.

Every now and than, I wake up and go "What the... where's my pillows?"
I usually find them outside on the couch, where I wouldn't leave them and my brothers won't steal it from me while I'm sleeping.

Yep, I have definatly had that happen to me after having too much to drink. I hate waking up in the morning and not remembering what happened the night before. I end up having to ask the people I was with, and most of the time I end up getting told how much of an idiot I was being! ::blush::

Like the time I woke up with: $7 in mixed change on my chest, a black eye and a 15 digit phone number written on the back of my hand?

...sigh but that never happened... gawd I'm so boring.

LMAO! OneEyedXander? Is that really you?
Not completly what was intended but the other night in my dream I was carrying a large heavy box and then my alarm went off (as in that actually happened) and I couldn't turn it off cause I thought this box was in my hand. That was odd.

I seem to have a 'what the..' everytime i wake up after drinking i either wake up in someone else bed  or in my own not knowing how I got there lol
