Tony Almeida lovers rejoice "“ your man is back on the scene at 24.

When we last saw poor Tony (Carlos Bernard) it looked as though he was dead, the victim of a terrorist conspirator in CTU's infirmary. Turns out he's OK, says exec producer Howard Gordon.

"Tony's uncertain fate near the end of Day 5 left the door open for his return," Howard explains. "Since there was no silent clock at the conclusion of his last appearance "“ the 24 tribute to a major character's demise "“ we always kept this as a possibility."

Howard also says that 24 will return over the course of two nights "“ Sunday, January 13 and Monday, January 14 "“ and four hours, like last season.

Season 7 finds CTU dismantled, and the setting moves to Washington, D.C., where Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) is on trial for his actions in Season 6. It's there Jack runs into Tony for the first time.

OK, getting more psyched for 24, in theory. Although, Tony has no business being alive.

Honestly, I think the seasonal cast kill offs can start to work against a show. It was keeping 24 pretty fresh, till the latest season, but..some characters just don't need to go away.

Alright, so we've got Jack, Tony and Chloe. Cool. DC, that's interesting.

To be honest I wanted a total purge of all characters, yes even Chloe. After the season 6 disappointment I felt a complete reboot is what the show needed.
But seeing as how two characters are returning what I'm 'curious' about is Chloe being pregnant.

Yeah, what's the timeline? Wonder if she'll have already given birth by Season 7. They could do something interesting either way...but the family stuff on this show can actually get distracting.

Well I'm guessing that it will be within 3/4 months after the end of season 6 if the show is in DC and in court about what Bauer did.
But then again who knows. One thing if Chloe is preggers then that means annoying husband is probably back. Unless he couldn't get out of his CBC contract for Little Mosque on the Praire, lol.
