What upcoming movies are you looking forward to seeing?

Yes, this thread has been here a few times before, but the year is almost over and new movies have been announced.
So, share! What movies of 2012, 2013 and beyond are you looking forward to seeing?



Here's my list:

Jurassic Park 3D (2013) - Yes, the 3D part is quite lame, but rest is pure awesomeness. I've seen this movie one year ago in the theater as a birthday gift and it was incredible! Well, and it's my favorite movie of all time...

Django Unchained (2012, 2013 in Germany) - Of all the new movies, this is the one I'm looking forward to most. I have read the script and it was really cool, although Tarantino changed quite a few things during the film shooting. The trailers look really promising as well.

Robopocalypse (2014) - Finally another sci-fi by Spielberg. Hope he makes it an R-rated one.

Jurasic Park IV (2014) - Oh, man. I'm looking forward to this, but I'm kind of afraid that it's gonna suck. They could screw it up big-time. I just hope they don't make some weird hybrid-dinosaurs.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2013) - The first one was awesome, and it took them 7 years to announce this thing. Hope that means it won't be some forced sequel to make money.

Iron Man 3 (2013) - The trailer was epic and dark. I like it when it gets more serious and the characters struggle.

The Avengers 2 (2015) - You can't say no to a Joss Whedon movie!

Much Ado Aout Nothing (2013) - As I said.. you can't.

Man of Steel (2013) - According to Nolan, they approached Superman the same way they did it Batman in The Dark Knight Trilogy. Sounds really interesting.

A Good Day to Die Hard (2013) - Well, the other Die Hard movies are great action movies, so this could be fun.

Gangster Squad (2013) - Crime movie. Love those. Want to watch it.

Killing Them Softly 2012) - As I said, crime movie.

Looking forward to all of these, particularly Django Unchained but I saw Killing Them Softly and was pretty underwhelmed
I don't really keep up with upcoming movies, but a few I'm excited for are:

- The Hobbit (there are going to be 3, right?)

-The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (Mockingjay too)

and to a lesser extent:

-The next round of Marvel films....Avengers 2, Thor 2 etc.
 
Les Miserables is the big one that I'm SO giddy about.

Also looking forward to seeing Much Ado About Nothing and Great Expectations as well.

Im so glad someone has mentioned Les Miserables, its gonna be amazing. IM already planning on going alone so noone will see me crying
-Django Unchained (big Tarantino-fan)

-The Hobbit (no-brainer)

-Amazing Spider-Man 2 (loved the first one)

-Sin City: A Dame To Kill For (Sin City is one of my all time favourites)

-Kick-Ass 2 (hopefully it will live up to its name)

-John Dies At The End (sounds interesting)

-Movie 43 (look at that cast...)

-Gangster Squad (love the era)

Looking forward to loads of movies but these are the ones that comes to mind!
 
I'm kinda excited to see Texas Chainsaw 3D even though I think I'll be disappointed by it. Other than that, nothing really. I'm still waiting for the next Halloween movie though too.
 
There's a new Tarzan movie being made that is reputed to finally, after all of these other atrocities, stick to both the story and the spirit of the character as Edgar Rice Burroughs actually wrote him.

Of course, all of the various Marvel sequels supposed to begin coming out next summer.

The Hobbit.

Schwarzenegger's new "Conan"movie, mainly because I still have fond memories of the original, and I'm curious as to how they're going to portray the character now.

Disney's treatment of the new "Star Wars" movies

The new "Star Trek" movie, if it ever does get made.

The new Superman movie, followed by the possibility of either a Superman/Batman team up, a Justice League movie, or both.

And, last but not least (this is more dream than actual anticipation) the second John Carter movie or a remake of the original, closer to the original material, followed in order by the other 9 titles in the series.

Can I toss in, a new James Bond movie with someone who really plays the character the way that he has been established over the last 50 years? Danial Craig is a good actor, and his movies have been entertaining, but they should go back and substitute some other name for the lead character. He gets too grubby to be James Bond, and he wouldn't know a real vodka martini, shaken OR stirred, from a glass of club soda.

There's gonna be a Justice League movie in 2015 and it's been hinted that Man of Steel might be the first movie to lead up to Justice League.

Daniel Craig has signed on to doing two more Bond movies. I think he's a good bond. He's not the classic, über-cool Bond, but he's good.

My point exactly. "Good" just doesn't measure up to a character who's theme song is "Nobody Does It Better." Of course, after Sean Connery,nobody has ever done it even as well.

Don't misinterpret my meaning. Craig IS a good actor. I freely admit that. But seeing him play James Bond is, to me, like watching someone play Superman without the cape and the red "S" on his chest, or Tarzan swinging through the trees wearing cut off blue jeans and a tee shirt that says "The Original Swinger." No matter how gifted an actor he might be, and no matter how much they spend making the movie, I just don't see 007 when I look at him.

That's what happens when you get old, stubborn, and set in your ways like me.
 
The Hobbit, Les Miserables, Much Ado About Nothing, and I'm pretty interested in that Wizard of Oz movie that's from the Wizard's POV. That's all for the near future.

I'm still undecided about Sin City 2 and Man of Steel... The first Sin City was pretty incredible, I'm worried the 2nd won't be as good... As the new Superman movie, if they go along with the Batman "vibe" (which I don't like much...), I might get real bored with it...
 
I really want to go and see the Silver Linings Playbook, hoping to get along while it is still in the theatres. Other than that there is only one movie on my radar...The Hobbit 🙂
 
Les Miserables. I have been waiting for fourteen years for this movie and it's so close I can almost smell it 😀

Definitely looking forward to Catching Fire next year but right now I'm so consumed by Les Miz I can't think of anything else properly. Squeeeeeee!!!!!
