What was Angelus doing to Giles?

In the episode where Angelus kidnaps and tortures Giles (Becoming pt 2, was it?) he asks Giles how he's holding up and Giles says "Never better" and Angelus leans down and says "Glad to hear it," then his arms disappear out of view and he's like "Now... Tell me when it hurts," and Giles looks like he's in pain. So my question is what was he doing?
 
Wow, that's...a really creepy question. And I'm sure than any answer will be equally or more creepy, so I'm not going to try. 😉 All I'm going to say is, probably something extremely unpleasant.
 
Ha, well I must admit that my mind never wandered to that place of dirt, lol... I always thought that he was like bending Giles' fingers backwards or something. Or, maybe that's a different episode or something that I'm talking about... Uhh... I don't know.

LOL. I figured he was cutting him or something considering he was so gung ho about chainsaws.
I like the fact that you don't see what Angelus is doing. Like 'Psycho', when you don't see something, your mind can imagine much, much worse than anything they could show you. That's the reason those slasher films don't work for me, but more subtler ones do.
 
I cant believe how dirty you made it sound! I just asumed he was stabbing him, with a weapon! Nothing else!!! But now my minds wondering! :nuts:
 
I remembered once where i stumbled on to a strange fanfiction sight and lets just say it had a very interesting take on what angelus was doing to Giles!!!
 
I think he was probably bending or breaking his fingers. I never thought about that dirty stuff that you guys mentioned. It is pretty funny though.
 
Probably something to make Giles forget about Angel was not souled at that time and making the blur disappear between him being Angelus and Angel.
 
ohh....NASTY NASTY NASTY!! you people are sickly, lol. I always thought he was torturing him somehow, breaking his fingers, or tightening the ropes around his hands. To "tell him when it hurts" so he doesn't kill him or to laugh at his pain and admitting it.

You guys make it sounds nasty!
 
Yeah, I thought he was just, like, breaking his hand or something. Eeew! Scary visual!! No no no! *Bangs head on table*.

That's just messed up lol.

I always thought he was tightening the rope or injecting something into his hand or a cut that was placed...I never thought of anything dirty, it wouldn't really make sense.

Angelus is a torturing type of guy, not some sick perverted phycho...atleast I think.
 
Well, it's better that you can't see what Angelus is doing, because, like someone said before, you can imagine. Nothing you can see, can disgust you more than your subconcious mind, cos it takes your worst fears, and somehwo moulds them into the situation eg, if your scared of breaking bones, he was probably breaking his bones, etc.
 
i thought he was torturing him cutting or breaking his finger we do see later in the end of season 2 giles has his finger in a cast sorta thing so i just guessed angelus broke his fingers
 
At the end of the episode when the gang without Buffy are outside the institute.
Giles finger are broken so that must be it.
