What was Faith's accent?

What accent did Faith have? She didn't sound like the others. It sounded tougher than Buffy's if you know what I mean. Buffy sounded more gentlee Is her accent the accent of people who have a reputation for being tough? Or is that how some people talk when they are trying to sound more cool in the 90's?

She's from Boston unlike Buffy whos portraying a Valley chick

Inner cities especially urban ones are going to always sound rougher and faster than suburban counterparts

I always wanted Faith to pahhk her cahh in Hahhvahd Gahhden, but sadly it never happened.
 
Are all the other characters accents a Valley accent too? I mean, beside the british ones 🙂

I think Cordy and Harmony, (and the Cordettes) definitely have valley accents and inflections. Not so much Willow I think. Maaaybe Dawn? I dunno about Xander...

LOL!! Me too!! After I heard she was from Boston I thought "then why doesn't she sound like Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in 'Good Will Hunting'"?

Dude, you know what's an even better movie for Boston accents? The Departed. Also starring Matt Damon, come to think of it.

matt damon and mark wahlberg do awesome boston accents. :-) everyone else, not so much.... much as I adore jack nickelson and leonardo dicaprio, some of their attempts are just funny. Maybe it's something you have to be born with.
