I have had great fun in writing Willow: The Onslaught of Asylum, and will continue to do so as I write the second half. Sometimes the storytelling is rough and I am now considering follicle transplants to replace the hair I have torn out on the long nights of writing.
However, the story that was only going to be a writing exercise has taken on a small life of it's own. As such, I have thought of a Buffyverse story that will involve the story of Willow, Rene, Oz, and Asylum and lead into a trilogy.
The basic premise is that Rene is one of three fortold aberrations/perversions of the slayer line... 3 slayers who have been forever altered from the norm. The first story is, of course, of Rene (modern era), a slayer who has taken on aspects of a true demon in order to survive a short eternity in hell.
The second is of Valaria (12th century), a slayerthat has been transformed into a hybrid of a vampire and a lich, who retains her humanity, but could never be accepted by the world at large (human, demon, and vampire) After her mind sleeps for 200 years, she must wake up to the atrocities her body (called the Crimson Sylph) has commited.
The third and final is of Megan (200 years after the age of Melaka Frey), who lives in an another dimension, filled with monsters, alien intellegences, magic, high technology, and the Gene Splicers (mysterious creatures who live to play god with all other beings). Megan is the first slayer recipient of their wicked sciences. She is an orphan who befriends Nathan Blue (feared cyborg and mercenary).
Please tell me what you, the readers of the currrent story think. Should I continue this idea, or end it when I am done with Willow: The Onslaught of Asylum.
Thanks.
