I haven't read the comics (got em' on order, so try to keep the spoilers to a minimum, if you can), so I can only really comment on the shows, but there were two I always was kind of hoping for.

In S3, I always thought Faith was into Buffy a bit. I get why they couldn't do it, but I a Fuffy pairing, even for a little while, would have been pretty awesome (no way in hell it would have lasted though). Faith being the only other person on the planet who really gets what it's like to be Buffy would have made a lot of sense.

The other was Xander and Dawn. I can't really remember how old Dawn is supposed to be in S7 (16?), but the Buffyverse was always very adept at skating over big age differences in relationships. I thought Xander and Dawn could have worked.

Which 'ships did you guys want to see?

I always, always wanted to see xander and willow together. i knew it was never gonna happen but they could have maybe fit it in season 1 or 2.

And wesley and cordelia lol i've always wondered how THAT would have worked out.

Definitely Faith and Buffy! I also think Faith always kinda had a little thing for Buffy, I think they would be great pair

I know they finally did very, very briefly in S5 of Angel but I wish Fred & Wes had more time together.
I also thought Xander & Dawn in S7 of BTVS would have been cute.
Would Gunn and a redeemed Faith be wrong..? I guess she's not really dating material

Faith and Buffy, FAITH AND BUFFY! They had such chemistry before Faith went bad! And when I think about it, after she did too 😀

Would have loved this one. It's kind of one of those in-my-head-it-happened pairings.
I've always said that I would have liked to see Buffy and Faith much closer, but I mean as friends, not lovers.

Despite being a very solid Spuffy ship supporter, I've always thought that Spike and Faith together would have been interesting, but I would have done it in a walking around holding hands, one chocolate milkshake and two straws, cuddling together in the balcony at the movies, really annoyingly adolescent, first love sort of way.

Dawn and Connor have always seemed to have a whole lot of potential.

I still have hopes for it, as well as a Xander/Cordy reunion.

Angel and Nina would have been good if there had been enough time to develop it properly.

Andrew and Lorne just now popped into my mind, I have no idea why, other than that they are both sort of more like mascots for their potential gangs, rather than really members of them.

And, finally, I really think that Illyria should develop romantic feelings for someone, though I have no idea who. Maybe Willow, since she seems to be unattached at the moment, and the image of a witch and a hell god loving each other could be handled in all sorts of different ways, cute, funny, poignant, romantic, tragic, or any combination.

Similarly to you, I am a Spuffy supporter, but I agree with what you said about Spike and Faith, and a Xander/ Cordy reunion would have been nice

Illyria and Willow would be good, especially because Fred and Willow had some kind of chemestry
I've always wanted to see Xander and Cordy post-Chosen. (Obviously Cordy would have to not be in a coma and/or dead for this to work) but I've always felt the these two, after growing up so massively since high school, would have been perfect for each other.

I always thought that Xander and Willow would have been perfect.
I mean, they kind of were in a relationship, but at that time they were involved with other people and its end was as sudden as the beginning.

I always thought Faith and Spike could have been interesting if they had explored it; although I'm not crazy about the idea of Faith with anyone that Buffy's been with.

I also like the idea of Giles and Joyce, I'd like to think if they came together they could have provided a united front when it came to parenting and also been a great support system for her; especially after she was brought back.

There are a lot of friendships I would have loved to see develop more, mainly Buffy/Faith, Buffy/Cordy (BFF's!!!), Oz/Angel, Gunn/Wesley and Tara/Buffy.

I would have LOVED to see Buffy and Faith explored. I have always been a big Fuffy supporter. Their chemistry in Season 3 was on fire!!!
I also thought Faith and Angel had a lot of chemistry in her appearances on his show. I would love to see them together in the comics, since it never happened on the show.
Even though they have a gorgeous friendship, I always wished we had gotten to see Cordelia and Wesley try again as an adult couple on "Angel". Obviously they didn't get off to a great start on BtVS but that kiss when he first returned on "Angel" went a hell of a lot better than their first one did. 😉

That's exactly what I meant with Fuffy. The chemistry was SO good.

Connor just being in awe of Faith when she was on Angel was gold.
Anya/Giles is so great, omg.

I'd also love to see Cordelia/Angel!! That almost-meeting at the bluff and the exit in "You're Welcome" just killed me.

Anya/Giles! Imagine how hilarious it would be if they never remembered their true identities in Tabula Rasa xD
All throughout the first 3 seasons I was hoping for Willow and Xander to get together. I was a Wander, but Tara is winning me over, there's just something about her I really like.

Not much of a shipper, it's kind of a joke to me, but every time I watch Buffy and Willow fight scene in "Two to Go" and meditation scene in "Same Time, Same Place" I'm like

Man, those two just need to have SEX already!

Xander and Buffy because that would give Xander a reason to stay in Sunnydale, without it I'm forced to believe that the poor guy has no self-preservation instinct, especially in the latter seasons. Take Anya and get the hell out of that hell hole, Buffy's not worth it you moron.

Buffy and Oz and Buffy and Tara, I think that Willow's lovers are a great match for Buffy, their general coolness and caring personalities would soften Buffy's self destructive tendencies. Also, drama-free factor hence more slaying, less relationship bullshit.

Buffy and Kennedy. Ken loves in an unconditional way and requires virtually no maintenance. How refreshing after all those years of vampire nonsense and Riley.

Joyce and Spike, just to see Buffy's face when she finds out.

Dawn and Spike and Dawn and Angel, just to see Buffy's and Xander's faces when they find out. Imagine those faces, just do it.

Buffy and Dawn. Show's badass-level goes automatically stratospheric.

Xander and Spike and Spike and Angel because again, courageous and would make a lot of people very happy, I mean, those two relationships combined are almost as popular as Buffy and Spike.

Buffy and Xander. After everything they went throught together over seven seasons and Xander's longtime crush on her, not one kiss between them. Closest they came was in "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered". Every time I watch that episode, I find myself thinking "Come on, come on, do it . . ." but every time, Amy comes in and ruins it. Even if it's not meant to be, at least let them experience it once!

I think it would of been really cool if Illyria and Spike got together in season 5 of Angel. They seemed to have chemistry and understood each over in an odd way. It also would of been interesting to see how Wesley would have coped seeing them both together. I know they had some moments in the comics but would have been cool on the show.

Also I think Faith and Principal Wood had some potential. Would have been cool to see them together a bit more.
