People, come on. The answer is SO obvious.

She had a stomach ache, and Giles was too concerned about Jenny's dead body in his bed to realize she was in a great deal of pain.

But really, I'd say a combination of the above said.

lol I think it was more so the stomach ache :lmao: But we'll never know for sure

I think that she was crying because it finally hit her that the man she loved, or at least what was left of him, was out there killing innocent people. Up until that point, the fact that Angelus was feeding had never really struck home. Angelus...an, ANGEL, was out there killing people, and it was her fault, both because she was directly responsible for breaking the curse (she did that out of ignorance, after all), but, because she couldn't finish the lob back in the mall, more people had died uselessly, and would continue to bo so until he was stopped'

She was crying for Jenny, out of grief for Giles, she was crying for her own loss, because she had never actually lost someone close to herself to vampires, and she was crying for Angel, because she finally realised that he was gone and that dhe would really have to kill the monster that he had become.

I chose death of Jenny, but I think it is a combination of both things!
Buffy felt awful about Jenny, how she treated her before her death, and I think she learned
that she needs to be close with her friends and people she isn't getting along with at the moment
because they could be gone in a snap!

I also think that she realized that ANGEL had done this...and she just broke down both ways...
I mean she now realizes that there is no coming back for Angel and that is extremely discomforting for her...

I voted for 3-rd option, because I think both reasons had place. Yet also she was crying for herself too - in this I include similar reasons to what Slayer Comma The mentioned above.
Also, why do people cry when they hear of someone's death? Buffy's human afterall despite her Slayership.

I'm pretty sure it was both, because she both loved Angel and hated the monster he became, but she was also fond of Jenny. It was probably just a mixture of a ton of stuff, just all the emotional trauma she'd been through...finally released upon the news of Jenny's death.

Poor Jenny. She was so...attractive. *sigh* lol

I think it was because of Angel. When he killed Jenny, she knew he had went too far and that she had to kill him. I would feel the same way if someone I loved did something like that. I know that I would have to stop them, but it would be hard because I wouldn't want anything to happen to them.

I think it was a mixture of the first 2 options. I mean although Jenny was her teacher, she was also her friend and the death of a friend is excruciaing even if you've only known them for a few months. And the fact that her boyfriend was had murdered her probably didn't help. Buffy was already feeling responsible for Angel turning and therefore I think she would have felt somewhat responsible for the death of Jenny regardless of whether it was her fault or not.

I think it was both as well, along with the grief that she knew Giles would be feeling. Her and Jenny weren't particularly close but there were still feelings involved, along with the fact that the love of her life was out there killing her friends/acquaintances.

I think it was a combination of both but I think it was mainly because of Angel. i didn't get the feeling that jenny was very imporatnt to Buffy

I voted Jenny's death. Bcoz even if she was crying coz of angel it would have been her death that would have started it off bcoz it would have given the realization that there may be no way of saving angel, which she would have been holding on to

Yeah would have to agree that it was a combination of the two and also because she felt an enormous amount of guilt as she had failed to do her job

I chose Jenny only because I think she was crying for Giles more than anything. She realized that Giles truly did care for Jenny and she felt horrible for his loss. So she ended up crying for Jenny's death. Although I also think she kind of just needed to cry. I mean, look what she had been going through. A good cry was needed and this was the perfect time for it.

I chose Jenny's death, because that just seems natural.

When you first hear that someone dies, it takes a while to sink in. You immediately hear the death part. I know, when I have heard someone I care about has died, the part of how or why kind of fade off into the background like a movie.
It takes a good 10 minutes to come around and even hear the reason.
After that, I can start to digest the why and then comes all the weird flood of thoughts that come around that. You know the "Could I have stopped this?", "I should have gone to see them last week."...all that fun stuff.

But, I do believe that at the first revelation that Jenny was dead...the grief for her came first. Probably followed closely by the grief and anger at Angel and then the anger at herself for not forgiving Jenny before then so she might have been around and could have protected her and the anger that she didn't find a way to stop or cure Angel before he had a chance to hurt someone.

I think it was a combination of everything. The initial shock of hearing someone you knew died and then everything just kind of imploded for her. Every mistake she made over the previous weeks, losing Angel, knowing one of her best friends (Giles) was in so much pain and that she could have stopped it. It all just collapsed around her, kind of like a domino effect. I kind of felt that way when my mom died. When the doctor's told us she was brain dead I made a run for the bathroom and my whole world just fell apart. It was strange because I knew it was coming. It was obvious she wasn't coming back but hearing it--made me sick. I sat in the bathroom and cried for 10 minutes and every mistake I had ever made with my mom came flooding back which hurt more then her being dead.

I think Buffy was feeling guilt for not stopping Angel when she could. She also felt all of Giles grief and then her own pain because she knew she had no choice but to kill her true love. Talk about a lot to deal with.

While I totally agree it was both, Jenny was wayyyyy more attached to Giles then any of the scooby's except for Willow. With Angel, all of the mistakes she made dealing with him and coming to the realization he had to die. The person she loved was irrevocably lost to her and she's HAVE to be the one to deal with it. Then with Giles obviously hurting about it and the guilt factor.... It's one big ball of guilt and blame on herself...

It's funny to see that some people voted that she had a stomach ache lol.

It could've been a combination of both, bad Angel and Jenny's death

I'm going to say Angel, I think Buffy was still too upset with Jenny about not being warned about Angel until it was too late. I do think Buffy felt bad about Jenny but it was probably more the realization that Angel was just too far gone now to be saved.

I think she was crying because she had a stomach ache. I mean having to slay in those pants has got to give her some uncomfortable cramps. I just wish yall had to slay in a mini and high heels so you can see just how bad it is. Not only that but the fact that she hardly eats because of all the patrolling and moping over Angel.

waits for laugh

Okay okay I think she was crying for Jenny's death. Knowing that she treated Jenny like crap and never be able to make up for it or anything. Angelus had already killed people before he killed Jenny so it wasn't because of him being too far gone or anything. Too far gone would have been when he commited his first murder.

Do we get to know WHEN you last went patroling in tight pants/mini-skirts and high heels? I mean you DO seem to know a LOT about it. ;)
