What Was she REALLY Crying For?

I haven't voted because I think the voting in this topic is silly and pointless.

There are alot of factors in Buffy crying at this point and me clicking a box that doesn't really show a true example of the answer is as useful as using a single match to flame grill a whale steak.

Firstly, she is upset by the fact that she has lost someone she knows quite well.
Jenny, though they had their differences, had been of assistance to the Slayer and had gotten to know her and her friends.

Secondly, she is upset at the fact that Giles has lost the woman he loved. Buffy wasn't able to forgive her quite yet but she understood that what Giles felt for Jenny was more than lust, hence the giving of consent for him to see Jenny again. When the people she cares about are hurt, she hurts too.

Thirdly, she had a chance to stop Angelus. She is feeling guilty that she couldn't do what it took when she had the opportunity and this was the price.

Fourth, it is hitting her who she has been with. Even though she can draw a line of distinction between Angel and Angelus, she is well aware that Angel WAS Angelus for quite some time and this is what he did.

Fifth, she feels guilt because she is the reason Angelus is back. She feels to blame for sleeping with him and this is the result of that.

There are more but its 2am so I won't be carrying on.

As for the vote - well, ignoring the silly one, its both and so much more.
She is crying for Herself, Jenny, Angel, Giles, Willow and anyone else affected by this.

I think she was crying because she had a stomach ache. I mean having to slay in those pants has got to give her some uncomfortable cramps. I just wish yall had to slay in a mini and high heels so you can see just how bad it is. Not only that but the fact that she hardly eats because of all the patrolling and moping over Angel.

Okay okay I think she was crying for Jenny's death. Knowing that she treated Jenny like crap and never be able to make up for it or anything. Angelus had already killed people before he killed Jenny so it wasn't because of him being too far gone or anything. Too far gone would have been when he commited his first murder.

I think what I meant was that Angelus killed someone that Buffy knew, someone who she saw practically everyday, I know where she felt guilt over him killing other people but it wasn't someone who affected her life, I think it was different when it was Jenny, and what he did with her body afterwards....(he did tell her she would watch her friends die one by one)...

I think it was pain for Giles because we know Buffy didn't care for Jenny after she held information from them. However, I also believe the majority of her grief was for the fact as one poster already put it, they were past the point of retrieving Angel. Buffy held to the belief she could save Angel and be back with him but with this act Buffy realized she would have to kill him.
