I just bought a shiny new box set of a show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you might have heard about it 🙂

It is beautiful - slim set in a tin box - and a replacement for my old set, of which too many of the discs were scratched or jumpy.

"Veronica Mars" season 2 box set. Just arrived yesterday.

The last actual movie DVD I bought was, I think, "Miracle on 34th Street"... the original version with Maureen O'Hara and little Natalie Wood.

Awhile ago we got the remake of "Get Smart" It was good. Steve Carrell is always good at odd/pain-caused comedy. It delivers that in a pretty funny fashion. I'd give it a 8/10

I'm wanting to pick-up Tropic Thunder, I've been hearing it's pretty funny from a lot of people. It will have to wait though, once mid November hits my wife and I start making Christmas lists and stop buying crap we want.

Just bought Bill Bailey Tinselworm and Frankie Boyle Live. Although it's a bit weird to see Frankie Boyle's dvd being sold in the supermarket he does his shopping in. He's getting really famous now.:biggrin:

i finally bought firefly! weee! i saw the whole thing at an exs over a couple weeks time, and now i have it, and i feel complete since i now have all 3 whedon shows on dvd.

Oh, and i got aristocats and sweeney todd as birthday gifts last week. ok so i didnt buy it but still lol.
