What was the last episode where we had a sad moment in BTVS?

After watching "Passion" I remembered, we haven't had an episode like this in such a long time in BTVS. The scene of Giles discovering Jenny's dead body breaks my heart so much. The last time we had a scene like that imo was in "The Body"

In my opinion, the last really sad moment is when Tara gets shot.

I thought grave was a sad moment when Xander stops Willow from destroying the world. It breaks my heart every time I watch it. They have a beautiful friendship.

Also, The Gift was incredibly sad. I cried like a big ol' baby. 😉

I thought 'Touched' was quite emotional because you know its the end and theres some lovely quotes from Spike to Buffy and for me when spike dies (possibly because im a spuffy fan) but Not as sad as 'the body' and 'passion' in any way because wowsers they were a lump in the throat moment!

Well, before I knew he was back in Angel, I found the end of the battle in Chosen real sad... When Buffy told Spike she loved him and the infamous phrase "No, you don't. But thanks for saying it."

But of course it's nowhere near the end of Becoming pt. 2.... With the song from Sarah McLachlan... Makes me bawl my eyes out every time...

That's my favorite scene of all, but I think regarding the sadness-factor, nothing beats the death of a main character.

Even though this has nothing to do with this thread, I'd still like to share this thought I just had. Wouldn't it be hilarious if Spike said "I know." in that scene instead of "No, you don't [...]"? Like Han in Star Wars right before he gets sealed in carbonite. 😀

The first part of season 7 when Spike was dealing with The First's manipulations and dealing with having a soul.

Oooh, no, that's not the last sad bit. When Xander calls out for Anya, and you can see her body among the rubble... that was heartbreaking.
