What was your 1st season?

Buffy season 4. I had seen random episodes, but when season 4 started on Swedish television, I knew that Willow turned gay in that season etc., and I knew I liked Amber Benson, so I started watching it for real then...

I watched Buffy from season 1 and never looked back. I could have done without season 4 but that's for another thread.

I was never into Angel on tv...I can't even remember it on tv here in Down Under. However I borrowed the whole series from a friend and loved it (except for the Jasmine crap).

The first episode I ever saw was Hush. What a way to start eh? Unfortunately I was at boarding school and we weren't allowed to watch TV, so I had to wait until I finished school to start watching in earnest. I remember once I caught a Buffy marathon on holidays, that was season 2. I was so chuffed that I got to watch the whole thing! Once I finished school I started at Season one and went right through Season five of Angel sequentially! It took me about 5 or 6 weeks of solid TV... I had no life.

I watched Buffy from season one when it first aired on television but I didn't watch a whole season of Angel until I bought season five on dvd a couple of years ago. I didn't really get what was going on fully (like why they were at the law firm) so then I bought the rest of Angel to answer all the questions I had about it. Serves me right for starting at the end.

It depends if you mean the first episode I saw, what season it was in, or the first full season I watched.
The first few episodes I saw were in season 1, but the first whole series I watched was, I think, season six.

Buffy season 3. The Wish to be exact. I might have watched Buffy before then cause whenever I went round my aunts she always had it on but I never really payed attention. But it was The Wish that got me into it.

Mine was Buffy season 1.

My pal Lee (who's a member here but doesn't visit much which I always bug him about) and I were always in to horror and sci-fi so a show with Vampire slayer in the title was right up our alley.

I watched the pilot when it first aired cuz I loved the movie so much. Then I saw some episodes from season 3. My first whole season was season 4. From then on I never missed an episode of BtVS or Angel.

I know I started watching REGULARLY during season 4 of Angel.
Hubby was out of work, out of town a lot doing odd jobs and generally making my life a living hell.
Icouldn't go get a REAL job because that left no one here to watch the kids, so I had to try and support the family from here. I was up all night every night working and then getting the kids up for school and laying down for a couple of hours and then back up.
Angel is shown at 6 and 7 am on TNT. Sometimes I was watching, sometimes not. Then I realized there was NO WAY to keep up that way. One day there was a baby, the next time I watched the kid was like 15 and seemingly evil, then the "hot chick" was sleeping with said evil teenager, then we had Angel going "evil" and suddenly the kid was better by comparison.
I was SO confused I finally just popped in a video tape and started taping it every day so I could figure out what the HECK was going on with this show!
That was roughly around the time Jasmine came into the picture...maybe an episode or two before.
I might have stopped and given up, had it not been for Season 5.
Two times through that and LOVING Spike, I decided to start watching Buffy at 7 am on FX.

Im not really sure, but i think for buffy it was season 4, i didnt know anything about the show when i watchd it for the first time, not even what it was called,hehe but it might have been season three but nothing past 4 as for angel i cant even guess lol
