My favourite plot twist is Willow realising that she is gay because it introduced Tara who quickly became my all time favourite character.

i said Faith going evil! i was like what the hell?!?!........ the begining of her downward slope. i didnt read the spoilers but knew Buffy was going to die at the end of season 5 because Sky One with there stupid promo! they even showed us Buffy grave and all that with her speech to dawn over it..."live be brave, for me..." any was it was ether Faith or Evil willow. but i voted Faith.

Angel losing his soul followed closely by Spike gaining his.

-You could see that Faith was headed down the dark path.
-Buffy sending Angel to a hell dimension for a century was necessary. Saw that coming when she told him to close his eyes.
-Buffy hooking up with Riley, well, that was definately twisted.
-Dawn being the key made sense. The first episode with her in it we were all like "Who the heck is that? What sister?"
-Buffy's death and resurrection were good. I didn't figure on Buffy dying. Her resurrection was a given though.
-Willow going evil is my #3 pick. When she screamed and blew away the thingy in the ceiling it was awesome!

Who saw Angel going evil? It is Buffy's 16th Birthday and she sleeps with Angel -- her soulmate, the love of her life. Everything is happiness and joy. Then Angel is in pain and falling on the floor outside. The episode ends. No one knows what is going on. Next episode he tried to eat Willow. That was awesome!!Besides, it was the first full season that Joss had to mess with our minds. The first time is always great and unexpected.

I voted other cause i Spike getting his soul back was the only thing that really blew me away cause I hadn't read any spoilers about it.

A close second is Buffy sending Angel to hell. I can't actually remember if I knew in advance but I just love the episode....so sad!!
Everything else on the list was either not a big blow away moment for me or I already knew about it before I saw the ep.

But Spike getting his soul back totally left me awstruck...so well donw...."Very well I will return your soul...muahahaha!!!"....loved that.

i voted other, i think the bit that suprised me the most was when joyce said, take your sister with you. I was thinking, eh? and there she was in all her beauty. Definatly.

i loved "Buffy's Death" as it was so unexpected and i also liked the "Evil Willow" one!

I was new to watching the show (sometime in mid-season 5) and there wasn't alot of reference to Angel at the time, so I'd never really heard of him. Then I started downloading and watching the BtVS eps one by one starting with season 1, so it actually came as a complete surprise.

I'm actually glad that I found the show late, because I stayed virtually spoiler-free until the last 4 eps of season 5.

I went with Buffy's death, that was so out of left field that I spent the whole summer thinking about if she was coming back or how, that was a well timed season finale indeed.

I've got to say Angel losing his soul in season two. That shocked the hell out of me. I remember watching that episode and seeing him bolt awake in bed and run out in the rain and going "Huh? What the heck? OH! Gypsy curse! Oh s*it!" LOL, the memories...
