If Buffy does end this season. What will happen in this board? I know we still have Angel, but it wouldnt be the same would it?

Just because the show is ending doesn't mean that the boards will. Buffy has a very strong fan base and always has. If people continue to post we'll still be here 🙂

Yup, I mean, there are always repeats, boxsets to watch, whilst the fans are still there, then the show will never truly die. 😀

Myself and the hubby are always rewatching the boxsets, and never tire of them.

However, well from which new fans continiously are created will dry up and we will be extinct, we will become a dieing race ... can't Greenpeace to help us? ... And with no buffy in our lives I'm sure at least half of us will commit suicide ... yup, the Dark Age is coming ::crying2: ::crying2: ::crying2:

All Buffy fans will stick by their fave. TV show and just cause the show would have ended, us lot will always have a new question or just a dumb topic to bring up. We will always be here, even if the show isn't.

In the end its only a tv show, and life is more important. I know that your comment was meant to be lighthearted but people have lost loved ones through killing themselves and its not a joke.

HUH HUH HUH! Faith now i am shocked. Just a show? Maybe to you, but im with Allycat, its a way of life, and what my life revolves around!

Boxed sets. Books (both fiction and non-fiction). Collecting BtVS memorabilia. Lots of things to do, even when the show is no more.

I've seen a lot of good analysis of the shows and possible/probable concepts underlying the Buffy-verse on these boards. Has anyone considered *writing* a book about BtVs? If the show is your life, immersing yourself in writing about it will extend that "life" indefinitely. (I think anyone who's had to write a thesis or dissertation will know what I mean.)

Has it all been done before? Probably, but not by *you*. Will you become a bestseller? Unlikely, but the idea is to do the thing out of love for the show and Buffy-verse.

Sorry, I will get off my soapbox now. I guess I was just trying to say that there are a lot of ways to keep BtVS alive, some of them very creative, even when the new TV episodes stop.

Anyone else have ideas?

Plus, it'll probably take a lifetime to discuss everything to the bone, and I think as long as we have DVD/boxsets, we'll survive and not be so irrational as Allycat assumes because that happening is just too depressing for me to think about. I mean, Buffy's still Buffy. Just because there's no new episodes, doesn't means it's dead or hasn't existed in the first place.

I actually had the desire to do that when I was reading one of the Unofficial Guides to the show that were written. However, I'm 15 right now and I couldn't possible write anything resembly good, but it's definitely something I've thought about doing in the future when I'm more...educated & experienced. Of course, there is the fact that I'd probably be writing it with a fellow Buffy fan so the whole 'need for talent & creativity' isn't all up to me.🙂

if we had the filming material and all, aren't there people around here, that can make 3D movies with their computers, we could make an 3D-animeted fan runner-up series??? I hereby volunteer!

Yup with out Buffy and Angel, what will we do late night just sit home and watch the cooking channel? oh its so sad its a tear fest and i like it that way... we Buffy Fans have whats that word..... Passion! And these boards are doing so well i'm sure even if no one else joins with all the people who post now it will be around for a good while, we hope!

we ned a name, you know theres 'trekkies' so waht will we be? cause btvs fan doesnt exactly role off the tongue lol
its so sad that its ending cause ive made so many great friendships with people tat began with purely a mutual love of the show and each week its like a little bubble of happiness when i get to watch it
ill miss it but like its been said before, at least ill have the comfort of my box sets and books and my own imagination
