Hey guys! I'm new to forum and let me start by saying that I have finally found Heaven! This place is so awesome! I had no idea there was a community as big as this that all about Buffy and Angel. This is the first forum I found that is completely devoted to the Buffy mythos.

Speaking of the Buffy mythos... I wanted to find out what you guys think will happen to the Buffy universe when Angel gets cancelled. When Buffy ended with Season 7, I felt okay about it because I felt that Angel was going to carry on the interesting characters and mythologies of the Buffy universe. Now that Angel is being cancelled and no new spinoff is in the works, what will happen to the Buffy universe?

I'm a huge fan of Buff and Angel so I definitely want to see more stories from this universe. There's still so much more to talk about and it'd be unfortunate that the series finale of Angel will the the finale of all things Buffy. So, what do you guys think will happen? Do you guys know of any information regarding a new spinoff? ::skull::

It will most likely be carried on by comics and the fans. You will never forget something like Buffyverse.

I'm rooting for a Willow spinoff simply because she has grown into an amazing character throughout the years. After all the growth she's gone through, it's certain that she can hold her own show now. It's time the witch gets her chance in the spotlight. ::nopity::

Well, welcome to the boards. I don't think that there is anything that can shut this place down. Too many devoted fans! Love you guys

Agree..There still will be comics, fanfics, forums like this amazing one🙂 and fans who don't want to let go such an icredible reality🙂

The Comics, the books... Virtual Slayer 😉, fanfic, boards... it'll never really die.

How could I have forgotten bout Virtual Slayer??? 😉 I think that as long as Whedonverse fans are alive there'll be no end🙂

Hey, Virtual Slayer may be part of the Buffyverse, but it's not part of the Whedonverse, but the Allyverse instead 😉 (Anybody still understand this.)

Yeah..but it's getting harder and harder to follow your twisted logic😉 Besides there're still authors writing books, magazines coming out, lots of conventions so it can't come to an end...

that's great..better then nothing, but what about those who aren't fans of comics or really reading altogether, like me ::blush:: hahaha nothing can beat the screen, and there won't be anything like it ::eyes1::

You'll just have to be patient and wait untill I can get my hands on a camera 😉

OMG Not only you wanna torture us with Virtual Slayer but you're also planning on filming future seasons?? If we can survive that we'll survive everything😉 There are still many things left for us to do,see, write, listen to,watch and read🙂

Hey, those who have the BBC2 will most likely be in for a treat when they start the Watcher/Ripper series based off the characters of Giles and Andrew. As far as I know, the series IS more than just a rumor, and production could begin within the year.

First off... virtual slayer? How's that? Hehe.. must be an insider joke right? :: fantom

In regards to the Ripper series, I haven't heard anything new about it but if it's going to happen, I'll be really excited. It'd suck if the show only airs on BBC.

By the way, I'm wondering how you guys get all this news about Buffy and Angel? I'm such a huge fan but its an embarassment to know so little about the future prospect of the shows and stories. It's great that you guys at least are informed of the latest rumors and facts. By the way, did I mention how this forum rocks!?

So they are really gonna do the Ripper series? That's awsome...anyone know if they are gonna air it in the US?

@ maelstrom209: Virtual Slayer, is a virtual season 8 (fanfic) posted on these boards.

As far as I know, Ripper is still just a rumor, it has had a revival lately, but no real news articles to back it up. And since ASH signed on for another British series I don't think that we'll see Ripper any time soon.
