What will you name your children?

Boy: Jakob first. Then if I have another, Tristan. Yeah . . . weird I know.

Girl: no idea . . . I have given this much thought and I just can't decide. Maybe Ana. I like that one. Simple . .
 
I've wanted the same names of my kids since I was about 9 or 10! I'm not usually that type of girl either, which makes it strange. I'm not even sure I WANT kids!!!

Boys Names: James, Duncan
Girls Name: Siobhan
 
Girl: Faith Rose, Illyria Micaela, Serenity Elizabeth, Lucretia Noelle
Boy: Alexander Mark, William Jerome, Landon Cole

I've thought a lot about this, obvs.
 
For a girl: Haley, Serena, Jenny, Kate, Alyssa, Wendy, Eline, ...

For a boy: Nate, Jonas, Thomas, Thibaut, Matthias, ...

I used to want to give names of shows I watched (like in the past I'd have said Piper, Paige, Prue or Phoebe), but in the end you better choose a name you really like yourself and don't pick one of a character/celebrity you like, it gives the name less identification to the child, imo (and if i make sense).

Agree, and those are lovely names. I think tv show type names are for your pets.
 
I don't want children but if the unfortunate event occured I would like:
Gaius for a boy. Obviously the name of my favorite BSG character but also I think it just sounds like such a beautiful name.
And for a girl I would like either River or Rayne. I don't know why but I really like female names related to water.

Oh no! You can't name a boy Angel unless he has super human strength to fight off the amount of bullying he will get!

Great idea for a thread, my boss is actually pregnant right now so it's almost a daily event to discuss baby names for me 😉

Alrighty, so if I have a girl some day I have two names picked out: Abigail (Abbey) and/or Riley.
I know the latter is a little wierd, given Riley Finn's appearance on BTVS, but I've always liked the name better for a girl, not sure why!

And if I have a boy some day I think I'm a little more open to ideas (haven't been able to think of many that I like!), but here's some ideas: James, Noah or Oliver

I have the worst taste in names

A girl: Chanel, Luna and way more
A boy: Yeah... I don't know. If my baby is going to be a boy, the poor kid is nameless
 
If I were american and If I have a girl, Buffy will be her name for sure xD I like Caroline, too. And Melanie is also gorgeous.
 
If I have a boy (... someday not soon-ish), I'll either name him Oliver or Frederik and for a girl I like Asta or Alexa(ndria).
 
I like how there are hardly any men in this thread. I guess that proves the theory we don't really care about this stuff. 😛

Oh! I would name a girl Anya, Melinda, or Illyiria (yes! lol no rolling your eyes, I've always liked the name.) and I'd name a boy Cal.
