What will you name your children?

I'm somehow very smitten with the name Kathryn, so, if I ever have a daughter and whoever is the father doesn't totally hate the name, that's what I would name her.

I would never give my children a name solely based on a TV character. I am very fanatic about TVshows and everything, but that's just crossing a line for me. Sure, if I really liked the name, say Darla, and it just happened to be a character on one of my favourite show, I'd go for it, but something that's clearly just from TV, like Illyria, would be a huge no go for me.
That's what you name your pets at best, not your children!
 
Illyria is actually not from TV originally. It's an ancient region in south Europe.
lol I'm not kidding. I did a school project.

Plus, yes I guess I first heard the name Anya on the show, but since Anya is always so literal, I would not really name my kid after that kind of character. Not that I don't love Anya, cause it's pretty obvious I do. I just love the name, it sounds different. I would never go as far as naming my kid Buffy or Angel! haha

I know that, but would you name your child after an ancient south European area?
I have a daughter and her name is Cynthia Danelle (her middle name is Danielle, I just removed the i, I don't know why).

Me and my boyfriend have discussed names (for the future, not now, lol) and came up with:
Elisabeth Gabrielle and Ivan James/James Ivan (James is after his grandfather).

Oh, Ivan's my name ! Just never forget the "I" : never Yvan, always Ivan ! I is good.
Assuming I ever have children - which I don't see but who knows - I'd opt for Nina if it was a girl, and Jacob if it was a boy. I wouldn't want people shortening it to Jake though, so I may opt for Ryan instead.
 
Girls: Katherine, Eden, Sydney, Avery
Boys: Jackson, Ethan, Michael, Roman

I've just always liked those names.
 
I'll probably change my mind by the time I actually have kids, but as of now, I like the idea of Buffy-themed names. (first and middle)

Girls: Willow Tara, Anya Faith, Cordilia Dawn
Boys: Alexander William, Andrew Rupert, Joss Angel
 
Girls: Genevieve, Autumn, Tuesday, Abigail, Ruthie, Arwen, Ivy
Boys: Aidan, August, Grayson, Joel, Nathan

I don't want kids but I do like naming things. Maybe I'll just get a bunch of cats.
 
I like a lot of names but these are probably my tops :

Girls: Helena, Leslie, Maia, Sarah, Kayla, Ella, Diana, Rose, Jacqueline
Boys: Dylan, Avery, David, Johnny
