There are people who say they'll eat anything. But there must be something they won't eat.

What will you NEVER eat?

Horse, veal, etc. You get the picture. I've had deer at a festival and as nice as it was I felt guilty. I'm not a vegetarian but I can't really eat anything that's been Disneyfied. I wouldn't eat meat on the whole but I like chicken, so that kind of doesn't work. It's not the most philosophical of positions but I don't care, I just can't do it.

Mushrooms. I'm quite fussy when it comes to not liking certain foods: pumpkin, zuchinni, asparagus, whipped cream, bananas etc. But I will eat them if I have to. If I am a guest at someone's house and they serve any of those things, I will eat them to be polite. But I will NEVER EVER eat mushrooms. EVER.

You are very odd.
Guacamole, avocado, yogurt, and eggs. Never, ever, ever, ever. Not in a million years.

Holy cow!!!! those are some of my favorite things!
Deer, veal, moose, horse, rabbit, you get it. I'm strictly beef, chicken, and sometimes pork (it depends on what it is). Oh, and turkey. Mmm, Thanksgiving. 🙂

I also will never eat any type of seafood or fish. I keep those things as pets. Fish are friends, not food.

Chitterlings, or, as we in the South call them, "chitlins." Never have, never will. (That's pig intestines, boiled, battered, and fried, for those who have never heard the term before.)

Cabbage. It's so disgusting! And usually covered in some weird slime.

That would be the cabbage water :p lol You'd never last in Ireland! :p
Bugs. I don't know what it's like to be starving (thank god!!) but I cant imagine it even then. They're so icky!

I have a hard time eating any sort of meat that looks like the animal it is. Cause i like living in my fantasy, meat isn't animals, world.

I'd just like to say that the last two things are lovely in their own way- I was brought up with black pudding (grandma from Lancashire) before I really knew what it was so it's never been a problem to me. And not only does horseradish complement roast beef and gravy beautifully, it also covers the flavour of any vegetables you don't like.

But yes, insects...no. When I was on holiday in Australia several years ago, one of the tour guides took great pleasure in telling our group that the correct way to eat a live witchetty grub is head first- that way if they get stuck because of your gag reflex, they keep going in the right direction. Nice.

Veal, lamb, foie gras, any meat from a pig, horse, deer.

I eat beef on occasion. But ONLY if it's already been prepared, in which case it does nobody any good if I don't eat it. So if I'm coming to your dinner party and you made beef stew, I'll eat it. But I won't be happy about it...(though I'll love the taste).

And obviously weird stuff like bugs.

Packet and Tripe. It's made out of the stomach lining and some other horrifying part of a sheep. Then boiled in milk and black pepper. I get nauseous even thinking about it.

Sounds like Irish haggis (My Scottish grandmother used to tell us about it)

Honeycomb tripe was my childhood "I'm sick" hot dish. It still is my "I'm sick" hot dish of choice. It's SO good. And it's what my daddy used to make me when I got sick to make me feel better.
