Well, after going to the dietitian it turns out I can't eat mushrooms anyway because I'm fructose intolerant. Ha! Take that, mushrooms! I shall never have to put up with my mum whining at me to try them again. xD
I think it's fair to see that I would try majority of food.
As the amazing Andrew Zimmern says, "if it looks good - eat it!"
I'm desperately trying to think of something I wouldn't eat and the only thing I can really think of is people. I would never resort to cannibalism. I wish I could say I would never eat dogs, I don't know if I would be able to say that 100% depending on where I was.
I will generally try anything once, but there are a couple things I could never eat.
The "odd" things, of course: dogs, cats, horses, people, etc.
The two foods I can NEVER eat are sauerkraut and blood sausage. When my mom made them, I couldn't even be in our house because the smell made me sick. I make a bad Bohunk. 🙂
I actually enjoy black pudding, but then it's not seen as anything strange in Scotland. We eat pretty horrible stuff. Congealed blood and oats might sound disgusting, but it's tasty. Especially if you deep fry it too.
