If you were in Buffy's place at the end of season 5, would you sacrifice your sister (who wasn't really your sister) to save the entire world, or would you make the same choice Buffy made, by jumping? Or any other ideas....
 
Her having the same blood as me would indicate she came from me, so that makes her apart of me so I would jump to save the entire world!
 
I'd like to think that I would jump, but I don't know if I could make that sort of sacrifice personally.
 
I'd jump. If I were where Buffy was mentally and emotionally I would have jumped...but I think I probably would have pulled a nice jack knife...not so much a swan dive...maybe a cannon ball...
 
I think i would. There is nothing worse than loosing someone you love as much as that, when you know it is your fault. But I also think i would be to scared for suicide, it depends I dont know, in theroy; yes. in practise; most likely no.
 
It depends how close I was to that person or not. Like, I'd only die for three people that I know. So, I'd have to have a pretty strong bond with that person to jump for them. Now, my half sister...after the whole thing with her boyfriend, she's become a shell of what she used to me. She's not there anymore. So, I'd let her jump because...she's...gone.
 
I'd probably jump. But It would probably depend on how close I was with the person. But if I thought of it at the time that it would stop if I jump and I felt like it was my place to jump. Then I'd jump.
 
I'd jump. If it meant taking my life to save the world, I would do it. If I didn't I would not be able to live with myself, seeing all those people die, and knowing I had a choice where I could do something about it.
 
I would definitely jump in! Hell no, my sister would not take the hit for the world if I could!!! Of course, knowing her, she'd probably say the exact same thing!

I'd jump in a heartbeat. Not just for my little sister, but for the entire world. For everyone I've ever loved. To know that I could make sure that they were all alive and safe would be enough. I'd never let my own blood take the fall when I could do it for them. :beatup:
 
Of course I would... jumping in is such a beautifully selfless act. Saving the world is such a noble deed. It is a really special gift to give all those innocent people.
 
I would really like to think I would jump, but I just can't be sure. I guess you never know which way an extraordinary situation will push you until your so cought up that you cannot escape the current.
 
I'd definitely jump. If I knew it would save the world, then I'd have no problem doing it. I would be scared, but I'd still do it to save everyone.
 
The more I think about it...if it was someone I REALLY cared about...the way Buffy cared about Dawn...I would jump...for them...and to save everyone...
 
I would definately jump, I wouldn't even have to think about it if it was someone I cared a lot about. The way I see it, (although it sounds corny) death isn't the end, its just a new adventure.

Yea...just kinda depends on what people idea's of death are....some people...like I could see atheists beliveing that once you die...that's it...you cease to exist...which would kinda make me even more afraid to jump...you don't know what's on the other side...

Thats true...but hey, wouldn't it be neat to find out? lol
 
How about this to ponder....What if it came down to saving Dawn (your sister) and letting the worlds merge or letting Dawn (your sister) be killed and saving the entire world?


NOTE: This is a hypothetical question assuming Buffy jumping through the energy wouldn't work.
