What would your Nightmares be?

When I was younger, it would be things like:
-The big blue cat that I was sure would hide in my friends bathroom and pop out at night
or
-Cruella de Ville somehow getting into the engine of my car with me inside (???) and driving it off of a cliff (scary music included)

Now it would be more like:
-Mom dying
-Being chased for miles and miles by something I can't see, but something that I know wants to hurt me
-Not being able to protect myself or my friends from something bad
 
I don't have nightmares, but when I was younger I used to have one where I was burned to death. I blame watching London's Burning for that nightmare.

Those are really scary!! I think the coma one is my worst fear.
 
Betrayal. Buffy being betrayed by her dad and her dad saying horrible things to her makes me feel horrible. I go through periods of my life where I am terribly plagued by nightmares to do with betrayal.

Generally it has to do with women that I trust getting together with a man that I have feelings for.

This probably says some quite bad things about my issues with trust...
 
Something would happen to my family.

I would be trapped in a room full of sheep...

Anything water related.

I actually had a zombie apocalypse nightmare a few months ago, so there's that. But if it's a question of things I fear in real life, then it would definitely be swarms of wasps and bees. That's probably the closest thing I have to a genuine irrational phobia. If I so much as hear one buzzing in the vicinity, I turn into a completely undignified quivering spaz and then run away.

As do I! I may even scream a little while running away.
My nightmares usually consist of losing my teeth, getting pregnant, or losing my job.

I'm not sure what that says about me - probably that I'm a control-freak and that babies scare me, lol.

i've had several pregnancy nightmares. they scare the shit out of me.
My worst nightmares were about losing a member of my family, especially my son. Nightmares that keep me up all night are about evil spirits attacking me in the bathroom.

Mine would be waking up in an operation but not being able to tell anyone/do anything about it.

Or being murdered and not being able to scream
 
I have this Nightmare that is... Hmm... Kinda weird.
I walk on a street at night with hundreds of people walking the opposite direction, so i have to push my way forward - i just know that this is the way i need to be going and not WITH them, the scary part is that even though it's *bright* (not completly can't-see-anything-dark) i can't make out their faces... And it just goes on like that for the better part of the nightmare. Makes me feel all alone in the world... Yeah, weird, but it freaks me out.
 
Nightmares based on fear coming to life would probably be something like this. Trapped naked in a see through box full of snakes with lots of people watching and laughing while all my family and loved ones are lying dead on the ground.

Not that I have nightmares like that but a "good" place to start for "worst case scenario". Not likely to happen.

More "realistic" I guess is being close to/responsible for someone dying and not being able to do anything about it.
 
Well I always have the same type of nightmares. Usually I am running from someone who is trying to kill me, the world is ending or I'm running from a tornado. 🙂
 
I don't really have nightmares any more, but in the years that I did, I was always being chased, running for my life, usually alone or ended up alone.

The only repeat was the man on the hill, which was wicked-scary but only in the dreaming, not in the telling.

The only one with a famous person had Paul Newman, only (of course) he somehow belonged in my high school "Senior Commons" area, where I was. He gave me the keys to his car so that I could get away. But when I got to the car, it was a stick shift, which I couldn't drive and the bad guy killed me.

I didn't realize it at the time, but one of the worst parts of my life back when it was rotten was the bad dreams. Glad they're gone. 🙂
 
It's kinda funny but i have nightmare's about the ocean. Drowning in a huge wave or the tide taking me out to far and can't get my way back the beach. Plus the worst part is when i dream about sharks. *shudders* it's so scary!

I also have another one which im curious if anyone else has had them before. Nightmare's about your teeth falling out. I have those pretty often.

That sounds really scary, glad I have not had that dream :S

What would my nightmare be? Trapped in a rooom with Ann Coulter perhaps.

My worst nightmare would be if something happened to my children, or my husband. This scares me to death...other than that clowns kind of creep me out!
 
Wasps. I am terrified of wasps. Being surrounded by them, with no way to keep them out, would terrify me.
 
I'm not totally sure, it appears I don't know myself very well. But lately I've been having dreams/nightmares of natural diasters. I don't know if this is because of all of the natural diasters going on in the world (and man-made diasters, the house across the street caught on fire yesterday) but yeah. Also, I often having dreams that I'm trying to get away from someone and I can fly but I have to flap my arms and it takes so much energy and I can't fly fast enough nor high enough.

Weird, idk.
