What year was Spike born?

I am curious. I don't know if the show specifies it or not. I have watched the show through twice and haven't noticed it. I know twice, what a newbie I am. LOL Thanks in advance.

When the character was first introduced, Giles said that he was "Not yet two hundred years old. In the "Touched" scene, Spike mentions "a hundred and twenty five bloody years," or some such, but it was never clear whether either number included his human age, or just the time he was a vampire. My guess is that he would have been born (not sired) around a hundred and fifty to a hundred and seventy five years ago, or somewhere between 1835 and 1857.

well, Spike was sired by Drusilla in 1880, as that is the date shown in the ep 'Fool For Love'...i have no idea how old he was supposed to be at that point, but i'm guessing around 30. so that would put his birthday in or around 1850.
