What you don't like about your favorite character.

So most of us have a favorite character from Buffy and Angel and this often leads us to looking at our character through rose-tinted glasses. Defending them no matter what and scrambling for reasons why they do the bad stuff they do and why it's ok. So let's just bad-mouth our faves for a while. 😀 What don't you like about your fave character.
If you're really all about the character love you can resort to " her hair is bloody stupid " but bigger reasons would be more fun.
Feel free to add as many reasons as you like.

I'll start. 🙂

My fave character is : Buffy
What I don't like :
1. I don't like her treatment of Faith. Faith tried to seek redemption and most of Buffy's friends get away with murder, but she still treats Faith like crap in most of season 7. When the potentials side with Faith, the first thing Buffy does is say "that Faith likes to kill people". Willow was having a hell of a time at that as well Buff!

2. I don't like that she's loves bitch. Spike and Angel send her into a tail spin. She'll put people at risk to help them. She'll feed herself to Angel the day before an epic fight with a mayor snake even though she's needed for the fight and is the best shot at saving people and will put a psychotic Spike in the same house as potential slayers knowing that the first can make him kill them. It's great that she loves them so much but put the mission first Buffy.

3. She does have a superiority complex. She's the slayer but should remember how much her friends have sacrificed and changed to help her fight evil. The occasional thankyou would be nice Buffy. 😀

My favorite character is Faithy. 🙂

What I don't like:

1. She slept with poor Xander. One reason I don't see The Zeppo as a great episode. That scene is so wrong. 😛

2. She was awesome in Angel S4, but then she's much less awesome in BtVS S7.

3. She keeps popping up in Dollhouse, Tru Calling and several films. 😛







I'm kidding, though. Eliza is a good actress. And Faith is kinda like herself, not the other way around.)

Sometimes, she thinks she knows what's best and she shut other people. She has the power, but that doesn't make her right.

Faith is my favorite but I can't really think of anything I don't like about her lol. Not even her hair is stupid 😛 Cause I love her hair.

So I'll go with Willow my second favorite btvs character:

1. I don't like how she treats Tara in certain episodes particularly in season 6 but even in season 5 she can be very nasty without even trying.

2. I hate the whole drug/magic addiction storyline for her, It made me really annoyed with her because growing up around addiction I really have little sympathy for it.

Thats all I can think of because I love Willow lol 😛

One of my favorite characters is Anya, what I don't like about her is what she said to Buffy in Empty Places, about Buffy just being luckier than them.
That's the only thing I don't like about her 😀

Buffy is my favorite character. One thing that I don't like about her, which is rare so I guess I see it more as a flaw, is that she does tend to think everything is all about her, when it's often not.

Willow.

Her behaviour in season 6 and the start of 7, especially her treatment of Tara. If she had been a guy treating his girlfriend as bad as she did with Tara, no way would the Scoobies have forgiven her this easily.

And, especially in earlier seasons, how easily she lets other people just walk over her, including her friends. I'm glad that started to change around season 3 or so.

Buffy

There's only been two times I've ever been pissed off at her: in When She Was Bad and Sanctuary. Her treatment of her friends in WSWB, while understandable, was uncalled for and her treatment of Angel in Sanctuary, while understandable, was also uncalled for. She tends to lash out when she's hurt and sometimes she just says (or does) the wrong things.

The rest of the time, especially during S7 when most people think she's a bitca, I love her to death 😉

Spike is my favorite character. I have just sat here for like five minutes and I honestly cannot thing of something about Spike I don't love.

Since Spike is my favorite character and I consider him as "Perfect", I really can't find anything bad about him. So I will just comment on my second favorite character, Buffy.
She is lovely, but sometimes I think she can be too harsh and too mean to people who love her - in this case, Riley and Spike - sometimes Angel as well.

She was the one who shut Riley out because she felt superior because she is stronger than him. Even though she wanted "a normal guy" she gave up on him because she was attracted to the danger, and she also claimed that "it feels like something is missing" when she is with him (Something Blue) - But still, I think she treats him badly because she realizes that she is the strong one.

1. I hate how she cut her hair off at the end of season 3, because it looked horrible!
2. I dislike her little crush on Wesley in Btvs season 3, because none of it makes sense to me and they're not a very good couple.

Angel (I have so many favorites but no one has mentioned Angel yet, so I will 😀)

I don't like that he tends to makes big decisions on his own without talking to those involved.

I also, don't like the make-up that they had him wear in Season 1 & 2 of Buffy. His lips looked ridiculous!

Willow.

I don't like how she gets "addicted" to magic and is looked down upon when she really needs her friends' help.

I HATED how she treated Tara and was seemingly okay with it.

"GAY NOW." Why did they feel the need to announce this over and over?

Season 7. All except Chosen, I didn't really care for her character. She was too sensitive and too scared. Not anything of the egotistical confidence we'd seen in the season beforehand.

KENNEDY. 'Nuff said.

We didn't really see her mourn Tara much. Buffy mourned Angel leaving her for the whole show. But Willow mourns Tara in a few episodes, and never mentions her again, until season 8...

Oh Spike Spike Spikey. What do I not like about you? I don't like how you treated Buffy a lot of the time. Tried to kill her, tease her, get her out of your mind. Oh wiat, maybe I actually do like those things! ha ha But really, don't ever try to force her against her will EVER again! *MWAH* lol

My favorite character is Xander. I love everything about him, but the moment I really hated him was in Revelation when he implied to Buffy that Angel hurt Giles - he wanted to hurt Buffy more than kill Angel. That was so low.

The way she treats faith is uncalled for, most of her freinds have killed people, yet Faith is the only one she holds it against, even before she killed people Buffy was bitchy to her.

Even though I dont really like Buffy and Riley I dont like the way she treated him in season 5, i felt sorry for him.
