What you got for Christmas!

This is a thread for all of us who want to share what gifts we got for christmas. Sometimes some of us meet family early and so on. Sooo I thought if you want to share gifts you got thus far and until christmas and after, please, do so here!

I celebrate Chrismukkah with my lovely hunny so we do 8 days before christmas of small inexpensive gifts. We started last night because we open gifts on Christmas Eve. Then we do the big gifts on the Eve.

I got hair elastics. And that's what I wanted...more to come.

I've been told that I made the "Naughty" list this year, so I'll only be getting a stocking full of coal. Oh, well, 364 days of fun, 1 day of coal. I still like the odds.

My boyfriend gave me my present early. He gave me a COACH purse.

Friends that I won't see before Christmas have given me DVDs...one is a 3 pack with Little Miss Sunshine, Thank you for Smoking and Sideways.

My other friend has given me the 40 Year Old Virgin.

My other chrismukkah gifts so far are: 2 pumpkin spice candles, a lip gloss thing and a usb port mini light for the laptop.

I got my big presents early in the form of a house and a brand spankin' new washer and dryer. I really don't expect too much more from my husband after those two.

One of my best friends and my soon to be baby's "Aunt Erin" just bought me a really beautiful bracelet with little hearts and a tiny dimond in each heart its cute i love it

My hubby and I haven't done gifts with each other yet, but we did gifts with my family last night. I got a computer game (Age of Empires III), two books, (March and Good Dog. Stay.) two DVD box sets, (My So Called Life and Gilmore Girls) and some neat clothes from a stand on the Santa Monica pier. From my MIL, I received a book (Battle Royale). We got money from my Grandma. With it, we bought some clothes in Chinatown (Palabra *loves* anything silky and/or red) as well as matching sake and sushi serving sets. We're making out like bandits, man!

So far, the best part has been having my family in town for the holidays (well, for our early version of them, anyway). They took me to the Huntington, in which place a nearly died of overwhelming geekdom when I saw the Gutenberg Bible. It was hands down the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life. We also went to the broadcast museum, where I watched the premiere of General Hospital. We went to Hollywood, of course. We drove around Beverley Hills and looked at mansions. We went shopping (okay -- we went "browsing") on Rodeo Drive, which was all done up for Christmas. We went to Santa Monica and to Chinatown and to Miracle Mile (where we saw the Tar Pits). We also ate out a lot. Most notably, we tried the Stinking Rose. It's all Garlic all the time. It's good, but I recommend some Gas X. We also went to a Mexican place in the Miracle Mile. I forget what it was called, but it was good. Really, we've eaten out so much that I think I've gamed about ten pounds. All in all, though, it's been a blast. I love having my family in town.

Merry Christmas to all Buffy Boarders!

My wonderful Husband and truely excellent children gave me the most unexpected, wonderful present! they gave me a premium format (non-vamped) figure of Spike by Sideshow collectables. I just love him. His coat 'billows' and the likeness is spot on perfect. It's so nice that my family support my obsession so! Not surprisingly, that was my one present, but i couldn't be happier.

I got some movies and a 300 sword, but the best thing I got was just watching our 4-year-old granddaughter open all of her stuff. Beyond all of the religious tradition, Christmas really is for kids.

Well, I got more presents than I can write [Most of it was small, I'm not spoilt or anything] but some of the things I got were a Karaoke Machine, a Portable DVD player, Some Buffy DVDs, BtVS action figuires, BtVS Tee Shirt, BtVS RPG...Okay, generally, a lot of Buffy stuff. =]

Oh, and Merry Christmas.

My husband *tried* to get me the Buffy comic. He got confused and ordered from Amazon a box of what he thought were 100 Buffy comics. Instead, when we opened the box, it was the first Buffy comic and 99 other comics seemingly chosen at random. He feels really bad about it, but he gets points for effort! Also, the first Buffy comic was good! So yay!

I gotta lottery scratch card for tickets to the opening ceremonies of the upcoming 2010 Olympics. I'm scratching right now.

No luck on the first set. Hey, if I win, who wants to go with me? We could wear Buffy T shirts, and be like advertisements, or something if the cameras catch us.

Tickets are expensive. It's like a thousand bucks for a good one. You pretty much have to win them, because really who could afford to actually buy them? The Olympics are really a party for the rich. The rest of us will just be watching on TV like everybody else, even if we live here.
