Remember these are just my opinions:

Buffy: Like how she is dedicated to her work, and always tries to do the right thing. Excellent protagonist in the first five seasons. Disliked her borderline-suicidal, hedonistic personality in S6, as well as how she let herself slip to the point where she basically became a mirror version of Faith. And her treatment of Spike was just awful. Also in S7, with her "everyone sucks but me" attitude. Don't think she deserved to get thrown out of her house in Empty Places, though (a nice conversation would've fixed everything IMO).

Xander: Like how he is the one who "sees everything" and always manages to step in when his friends need it most (he gave great speeches in The Freshman, Grave, and Potential). Dislike how he feels the need to intrude on every aspect of Buffy's life, also some of his comments are highly insensitive at times (the "rape your sister" line from Grave was just uncalled for, though his aforementioned speech to Willow later on made up for it).

Willow: Like how she grew as a character over time, going from shy bookworm to all-powerful Wicca, she's just adorable in the early seasons as well. Dislike her selfish tendencies, such as in Wild at Heart where she almost went through with casting a spell on Oz for her own benefit.

Giles: Like how he is a great Watcher and parental figure for Buffy. Disliked the infamous Mutiny on the Bounty in Empty Places, as well as his repeated attempts to have Spike put down. I know it was all in best interest, but really, Giles?

Cordelia: Like her character development on both Buffy and Angel, and how even early on, she was always willing to help out the Scoobies. Dislike how she went back to treating them in S3 (though it's not entirely unwarranted, given Xander's betrayal).

Angel: Like his interesting spin on the vampire mythos about having to live with a soul and be forced to atone for past crimes. Plus DB's Angelus performance as Angelus was great. Dislike his appearances in the early Buffy eps.

Spike: Like his character in general: both badass, straight-up evil vampire Spike and post-chip, comic relief Spike (plus he had some of the best lines). Also, his interactions with Angel were hilarious. Dislike Seeing Red, and how his screentime would eclipse Willow and Xander's in S7.

Oz: Like his overall attitude, treatment of Willow, and philosophical way of thinking (Buffy reading his mind in Earshot was hilarious). Dislike how underused he was, and the way he was written out in Wild at Heart.

Faith: Like how badass she is; she was a complex individual, and her character arc was one of the absolute best that the Buffyverse had to offer. Both evil Faith and heroic Faith were nothing short of awesome. Dislike her murder of the volcanologist; unlike the other people Faith killed, he wasn't a bad guy, and she seemed nonchalant about the whole ordeal rather than forced to do it out of a sense of obligation to the Mayor.

Anya: Like her backstory, from "woman scorned" to "the scorn of men everywhere", only to fall in love with Xander. She is so adorable sometimes (bunnies) and her comedic timing was always spot-on. Dislike her brief return to vengeance demon in S7.

Riley: Like how at first he genuinely seemed to care for Buffy, and wanted to be the guy he felt she deserved. Dislike S5 Riley, where in spite of the fact that Joyce is suffering from an aneurysm, we're supposed to feel bad for Riley due to Buffy not spending enough time with him.

Tara: Like her growth over the three seasons she was on the show, from shy practicing witch to a force to be reckoned with. Dislike how even after all this it feels as if the Scoobies (minus Willow) still treat her like an outsider.

Dawn: Like how she matured over time. Dislike how she always needed saving early on.

Joyce: Like how she tried to form a close bond with her daughter, and even after finding out Buffy was the Slayer, made an attempt to be supportive. Dislike how this sometimes worked out before Buffy told her.

OK so that's what I think, wbu?
