I do quite like this, I feel like I could do a pie chart for this. It'd be like "this big part is how much I love Spike, whereas this part is how much I love Giles, and this is how much I love Oz and Anya. The whole chart is actually my personality and how big the different facets of it are. Also over here in the negative section is Riley"
 
Yeah, unfortunately it only covers the major characters and their appeal. Still, if your favorite isn't up there you could take it as inspiration to write your own 'Why I Like This Character' paragraph.
In fact I might do that anyway when I've got a little more time. 🙂

No, I don't. I don't care about power nor bravery, I prefer freedom - one thing that Buffy doesn't seem to have.

Personally, you think everyone needs to chill out and learn to appreciate life. Sure, there’s a lot of bad things happening, but you know better than anyone that dwelling on a problem does not make it go away. Cordy knew how to have fun and get stuff done — you’re probably similar.

Oh boy, I wish! I dwell on things far too much. I'm pretty direct and honest though, I definitely relate to her that way...often have little patience for B.S and pussyfooting.

I don't think this article applies to me as much. I don't love characters in shows or movies or books because I strongly identify with them (at least not necessarily) the way it seems most people do. Many of my favorite characters don't resemble me at all. I like them because they are very different from me and therefore very interesting and educational.

That being said, I can identify a lot with Angel. But that is also me projecting myself onto the character more than just a little bit; the details of our lives are completely different obviously. And Angel is FAR from my favorite character from the shows anyway.
 
I guess I'll keep fighting, no matter how hard life gets... (hm, and I certainly do have a lot exes who loves sarcasm and the color black... 😉)

They should have added one for me: Clem

If you like Clem, you are sociable but perfectly happy to be on your own. You are always found in the company of a television and junk food to the point where it affects your skin and you make no apologies for it. You are an opportunist (Clem took over Spike's lair when Spike left) but you are often considered trustworthy enough to take care of other people (like Dawn). You have a great sense of humour (such as when he met the Potentials). You are considered non-threatening, even to kittens who would be wise to not remain in your presence.
 
Any other of my watch throughs of the series I never would have picked this character as my favourite but this time around I'd say:

Angel
Angel was a broody vampire with a heart of gold… unless he was on one of his Angelus-fueled murdering rampages.

Okay, I'm going to write down my favourite characters before I look so I don't find myself changing my mind. I'm not sure if there are Angel characters but I'll include some just in case.
Giles and Buffy are my two favourites based purely on

Just because you love book learning and a good cup of tea does not mean you’re not a badass!" I would say this is pretty accurate about me. I definitely have a wild side and I'm definitely way more complicated than people think. I absolutely LOVE me some tea and a good book as well.

It's a shame it wasn't about Buffy AND Angel.
 
No Wesley?!

Wesley does what he thinks is right, and he take the consequences when it's not right. He goes from being an annoying prat to one of the deepest and most honorable men. His path is one of discovery, and he is willing to see his won faults - sometimes too willing. But he won't trade his honor for anyone or anything. He works for right - no matter what life throws at him, he never changes because that is a core value. The sensitive little boy who tried to bring a small bird back to life, who was locked under the stair, and abused by his father finds the inner strength to do what must be done.
 
Why did they include Riley?😕

My two favourites are Willow and Spike (and yet my names Mr Trick aren't I'm a devil😉) and I would say that I match up pretty well to those characters based on the descriptions🙂

For the Riley lovers such as @brinkster130 😛

Went back and read the descriptions for my second (Spike) and third (Faith) favorite characters, I most definitely like sarcasm, cynicism and the color black 🙂 (while I can relate to both of their descriptions, the Willow description there fits me best 😛)
