Whatever happened to the awards?

We are hoping to bring them back in the future when the Board is in the right frame of mind for it. As it is we haven't had the kind of board activities needed for e.g. the House Cup. But they are probably not gone forever.

So what does that really mean? Waiting until those naughty ex-Drogynites have forgotten how much fun it was to initiate dis-information about upcoming events?
Though I suppose that would only refer to the ex-Drogynites who chose to be of the Black Thorn. As those goody goody Sineya people wouldn't stoop so low any more.

Oh, I miss the old houses
Well, the last time we had awards, people made a big stink about it being unfair or what have you, so we decided to cool it for a while. So I guess when people can see them as just a bit of fun, then we'll have them again.

I wasn't aware of anyone making a big stink, though I should add the time Droynites said the points were counted wrong was when we didn't come last. A recount was asked for, just in case we should have been last.

Honestly, I haven't seen the boards as active enough to really have any kind of awards, so the absence of them hasn't bothered me too much. If you look at the board, the dorms aren't getting much action, and most of the posts are happening in The Game of Life and The Bronze.
