I haven't seen season 7 since it was aired in the us, so I might suffer from temporary amnesia.
But did Faith ever wear leather in that season?
All I can remember is that denim jacket and that red t-shirt.

Is it that Continuity Guy again or did Faith have a change of heart?

I guess it's all part of her arc. She's still a bad ass (hence the denim) but the Leather is largely shorthand for BADGUY! in Buffy, the shinier, the eviller... The last time she wore leather was in... emm... ah, the start of Sanctuary. It shows she's changed, I suppose. She no longer depends on her bad girl persona. It's not entirely gone (Force of habit, I guess) but she's more content to wear less attention-grabbing outfits.

I just watched Amends and er... Faith in a skirt?

Is denim really that bad ass? It does make her look a tad less bad-guyish but still... As I've stated before. She looks a liiiittle bit lame in that jacket.

Anyhoo, regarding the leather and bad guys. I ask myself the same thing that Cordy does in 'the wish'
What's up with you two and the leather?

Why in the world leather? Though it suits Faith's style perfectly, for some odd reason I just do not understand cause other than that, I just hate leather.

Skirt? What skirt? I didn't see any skirt! But what's up with Buffy's do? With bangs and all...

Yes but that was a tiny short skirt.

I agree with everyone Leather goes with the bad girl image, although there was one time on Angel season 3 that Angel wore Leather pants and he wasn't evil.

Personally I prefer the denim more kick ass and stylish (non slutty for Faith that is)

Yeah, she does a little bit, but it saves them the hassle of remembering to do the magic moving shrinking tattoo. (Was it really that hard to remember where it went guys?) And it's more the 'tude she wears it with. A jacket that looks badass on Faith, would look kinda cutesy on Willow... 😀 Denims more practical than Buffy's girly girl look, and it's in keeping with Faith's rocker image without making her look too evil.

I should also amend that-
"The last time she wore leather was in... emm... ah, the start of Sanctuary"
should probably read-
"The last time she wore leather in public was at the start of Sanctuary"

Totally agree, it's definitely less bad ass...but they kept it in black (or really dark blue but I think it was black) - which does make it more rocker chick.

And, because I'm that kind of ranter, it's worth mentioning that in the Grad 1 fight, Faith was wearing all denim to Buffy's leather...

Nice observation Jill!!! 😀

Jill..funny lil captions 😀 Just because this is a family board though, I think maybe there should be a warning on the one that uses the "bad" word 🙂

Whoops! I'm a lazy sow and reused pictures I had for something else without checking them. Basically, I was just pointing out that three of the female cast appear to share a wardrobe, and it's a rather unlikely three... Once again, sorry all...

Those two aren't the exact same jacket though...they are both jackets of dubious morale though 😀 just not the same one.

I dont remember Faith having on a pair of leather pants when she was in Buffy, but when she was on Angel in "Orphious" and I think it was "Salvage"(?) she had on leather pants, because I remember mainly when she beat the crap out of Connor, and also when she said to Wes "Well I'm all squkey cleen now", She had them on in Season 4 of angel but not in Season 7.
