Finished the first chapter of Claiming Christ: A Mormon-Evangelical Debate - for the record, it's really interesting. The different discussion of the Evangelical Christian and Mormon view of Biblical canon is very interesting! As an Evangelical Christian myself, I find the discussion fascinating.

"life", by Keith Richards

i liked "une forme de vie", except the end that i found gross

Just finished reading "The Zahir" by Paulo Coelho, good book, but quite slow-moving. It's a partly autobiographical account of some of his own spiritual experiences.

I left the Literature with the capital L for wha i was for now and I caved for the Sookie Stackhouse novels.

Watching a True blood marathon all weekend will do that to you 😛

I just finished reading My Soul To Take a couple days ago. It was a really good book because had Irish orgin in it because it was about Celtic bashees and reapers.

I'm reading "City of Thieves" by David Benioff. A story of an unusual friendship, set during the siege of Leningrad. Totally unputdownable, I want to marry this book.

Just started reading Wicked. What the hell...why have I waited this long to read this?! It's genius!

Really? I HATED it. Gave up somewhere during the middle, it was the first book I didn't finish in ten years.

I'm currently reading Rampant by Diana Peterfreund. Two words: Unicorn hunters. Descended from Alexander the Great, have to be virgins for their special powers to work. Unicorns are poisonous, bloodthirsty beasts. So completely and utterly ridiculous it's awesome. (And Miss Peterfreund is a very good storyteller. I was quite surprised.)

Halfway through Game of Thrones and it is the best fantasy book I've ever read, I'm hooked. Can't wait for the HBO series about it that's starting later this year.

HOLY CRAP I love your banner!!!
Just finished "Jude the Obscure" - and wow, pure brilliance! Best book I read all of last year (though Thomas Hardy has an annoying flare to repeat what must have been his favorite word)

Now getting into Ovid's "Metamorphoses" and Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men"

Of Mice and Men is so sad. Had to read it freshman year.
I've been sick since before the new year so have been bed bound. So glad for my Ebook Reader - 200 books at hand! I had started Don Quixote but it was too heavy for my muddled brain to get around so I am now on Book 6 the Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood books.

Eric karma!
the immortal series by alyson noel

I'm currently reading the first book Evermore in the Immortal Series, by Alyson Noel. And I have to confess that it's a fun and easy read and I really like the way it flows. The main character is relatable and the guy she's kinda crushing on is pretty fun and mysterious as well. 🙂

Yeah, I just bought it a couple of days ago. Actually I bought the first three books in the series because Books-A-Million was have a REALLY GOOD sale and they had it where you could buy two and get one free. So, they had several books like that and for cheap too. So, I went ahead and bought the first three in the series, there's five so far all together.

And I have three of the HP books in the series, but I haven't read any of them save for the first book. I think this is the first time that I'd rather watch the movies first BEFORE I read the books, so that having read the books wouldn't ruin enjoying the movies for me like it normally does the other way around. Hee. 😉

Omg! Books-A-Million! You must be from texas, I thought, then looked at your location and sure enough, you were! haha. What part of Texas?? (if you don't mind me asking, of course) Anyways. Oh, wow! there are five already?! I remeber back when there was only one! haha

With Harry Potter that is exactly how it is for me too!I'm reading up to the 6th book then waiting.... I hope. I don't know. I might just jump the gun for the last book/movie. lol

Haha, I like how you almost equate shopping in Books-A-Million with being from Texas. lol. Cute is cute on you! 🙂 But, yeah I from Denison area, about an hour and a half outside of Dallas closer to Oklahoma, but not quite there yet. lol. (And I totally don't mind you asking.)

Yep, there are five and I wanted to get those two, but alas my pocket book was already crying out in pain by the time I made it to the register with the other nine books, of which six were hardback and no more than $6.97. Hee. I felt so good about my purchases.

I don't mind doing that with this series, because I really wanted to actually enjoy the movies in their own special way, and then when they're over and finished I'll finish reading the books. Besides, I'm more a fan of the movies right now anyway, because they're the closest I'll ever get to them actually thrown a small bone in my ships direction. Hee. Yeah, shallow me is shallow, but oh well it's all good.

And the Deathly Hallows movie is E P I C and that's all I'll say to that. 😉

House of Leaves for like the zillionth time. My favorite book of all time.

OMG I was going to read that, but couldn't understand it!! LOL.
