Whats in your purse or wallet?

They say you can learn a lot about a person by what they carry around with them.

So, girls, what's in your purse? Guys, what's in your wallet? Are you a minimalist? or do you carry a big purse? What is essential to have with you at all times?

As for me, I commute to work, so I pretty much carry stuff with me for the whole day. My bag is pretty big, lol. I bring lunch, a coffee mug, a book to read, my wallet, phone, lip gloss, and a brush.

If were speaking bags I always carry my purse (full of various bank and loyalty cards as well as my NUS card) a lipbalm, handcream, keys, phone, iPod sometimes a pen. I wonder what kind of person that makes me 😀

I own a simple leather wallet that I usually carry around in my black & red backpack, whenever I leave the apartment. Nothing stylish.

I usually have two back/creditcards then a bunch of memberships/discount cards to stores, a school card that I can get discounts with, a stamp card for food stores (if I buy enough meals I get somrthing free), cash, a thing I stick in the grpcerycart at the stores instead of a coin and a organ donation card saying I'll give away my organs if I die. And probably some receiets.

But in my wallet, I have my student ID, library card, Plum Rewards card, receipts, some cash, a concert ticket with the band's autographs on it, and some old gift cards that are probably empty. 😛

I have my wallet, nail clippers, tweezers, check book, cell phone, at least three kinds of lip gloss/lip stick, gum, keys, lotion, and various odds and ends that end up in there throughout the day.

My purse is divided into two sections. One side is basically a pharmacy with like . . . Lyrica and pain meds.

The other side has my glasses case and my wallet. So those are the absolute essentials in my purse.

But it's probably worth mentioning that I don't go ANYWHERE without a book in my hand. If I still had a purse big enough to fit books, it'd be crammed full of them. Which is exactly why my mom got me a smaller purse for Christmas last year, so I wouldn't be tempted to carry around a bag that felt like it was full of bricks anymore. 😀

My purse broke. But I had my money, my student id, my drivers permit, my phone, a diet coke, sometimes a jacket, and various papers I picked up in there at all times. Now I have the money student id, permit, and phone in my pocket... the papers sometimes in my pockets... the jacket and coke in my bookbag.

I am a big purse gal. In my bag I carry my wallet, checkbook, cell phone, keys, hand sanitizer, lotion, a couple hair ties and bobby pins, gum or mints, a book, day-runner calendar, a pen, blotting sheets, chap stick and lipstick.

The only time I don't have a big bag is when I go out to bars, then I carry a small clutch with ID, cash and credit card.

Oh, I love bags. All kinds. Sport bags, fancy bags, shoulder bags, big bags, little bags! 😀

I usually have have make up (lip gloss, lip stick, mascara and eyeliner), hair brush, little mirror, my wallet, my phone, keys, I always have a pencil and a little address book, wipes, hand cream, gum, sunglasses and that's pretty much it.

When I graduated, I asked my parents for new Guess bag.

Very similar to this one, just the pockets are on the sides and they don't have those thingies on the zipper. I was lucky, it was only $100 because it was on sale, and now it's my favorite bag 😀

Because I'm bored (and because I had actually planned to swap bags tonight) I decided to empty out my bag and take a pic of all the random crap I carry around.

So... from the top: shopping from Boots, my handbag, nail varnish remover pads, my neck scarf for work, body spray, mints, my glasses, 4Head headache stuff, diary, earrings, iPod, paracetamol, Vaseline, two pens, lip gloss, wet wipes, emery boards, work name badge, hair bobble, deodorant, packet of tissues, purse, umbrella, train pass, a couple of plasters, hand cream, hairbrush, two sets of keys for work and my house keys (complete with Spike keyring 😀).

Ordinarily I'd have my phone and my Kindle in there too, but the Kindle's on charge and I was using my phone to take the pic. 😛

I really do not know how men manage without handbags. 😱

I have different things in different purses but I try to keep certain things in all of them so that I'm not stuck if I forget to transfer everything!

I always have wallet, phone, hand sanitizer, a lipstick/gloss, tiny bottle of undereye concealer, (if I'm going to be out for a while and think I might need to reapply, which I usually forget to do), tissues (if I'm really organized that month)!

My bag currently has my wallet (bank card, cash, store cards, insurance cards, etc), lotion, chapstick, a diaper, wipes, a container of cheerios, a sippy cup, one baby shoe (I have no idea where the other one is), and my phone. It's a medium sized purse I suppose...it could be a lot bigger.

In America a purse is a hand bag, right? Cuz round these parts a purse is your wallet/where you keep your money, cards etc.

My handbag will always contain my purse, whatever book I am reading at the time (Catch 22, right now), my iTouch, a few pens, a notebook, perfume, deodorant, a hairbrush, moisturiser, work keys, an umbrella and a bottle of water.

I carry medium sized bags. I have a few very small ones as well but those don't get used very often. I keep all the standard crap in my purse. My wallet, keys, phone, lighter, pens, small notepad, misc pills for headaches/stomach aches, condoms, body spray, deodarant, a few random makeup items, mirror, hand wipes, my zune, ect. Depending on what I'm doing or where I'm going sometimes I shove a book or whatnot in there as well.

So around the UK, a "purse" is what we'd call a "wallet" in America? And what we call "purses" in America are known as "handbags." Did I get that right?

I'm going to assume you mean bag as I didn't actually get an answer.

I don't like handbags so carry a drawstring one instead. I always have my phone, iPod, keys, whatever book I'm reading at the time and a pen. Quite boring really but I don't really need much else, all my important cards I keep in pockets.

I'm a survivalist! I don't carry it around now, but in my closet I have a bag that contains:
1. Rope
2. Granola Bars and other lightwieght non-perishable food items
3. Two water bottles
4. Matches and Candles
5. Twenty Bucks
6. Flashlight
7. Duct tape
8. First aid stuff.
Looking at this, I feel like a maniac.😀
