I like blink-182's music (the Self-Titled album is probably my favorite) but their recent music is just so generic that I can't tell the difference between that and pop music (I like some songs from California, but it was mostly forgettable).

Very true. Wasn't fussed on any of the new stuff that I listened to. Everything after self titled, not sure how many albums that is now. Dude Ranch is my favourite.
