It's one of my favourite episodes actually. The bug man assassin always freaks me out though! I hate anything to do with insects. It's probably more comical than the other big two part stories of the season.
 
I don't like Kendra so her character introduction bugs me, but it's exciting to finally see some Oz in the show! And Cordelia and Xander's first kiss, it's like OKAY now this is when the show really starts to gets down to business!
 
I lol'd so hard when Xander and Cordy kissed. Especially the first time. "We gotta get out of here!" haha! The second was actually kind of cute. I never thought Xander/Cordy was a good couple, though.

I really liked this ep, both part 1 and part 2. And Drusilla was cute as always, Spike was funny (I'm thinking maybe dinner and a movie. I don't want to rush into anything. I've been hurt, you know.:lmao: ), Angel was pretty and Willow and Oz... :kiss: Canapé? <3 love them. I laughed a lot. ^^

I really like the bug man, hes creepy for sure, and not just because of the bugs. Just his whole demeanor is creep city.

Me too. Isn't it weird that a multiple slayer is such a small deal for them? It was the first time in history, and they were like "Hi. Nice to meet you. Bye."!
 
I loved this episode, too. Finally, Spike and Dru got to do their big thing and I like how the assassins were brought into it. I personally think it's a lot scarier if someone human or human looking is so evil and powerful; somehow, it's a lot more intimidating.

Personally, I don't like Kendra as a character probably because the actress is a bit bland. I don't know. However, I do like the idea that two slayers exist but as mentioned, they didn't do much with it. It was done okay in this episode and did all right for a bit continuing throughout the series. You know, when Kendra died Faith came but when Buffy died the second time... what happened? Oh well.
 
The bug man creeps me out. Yuck. Bugs are not my forte! I think his cover as a beauty salesman was pretty clever though. He sure got cordelia to buy his pitch. Remember ladies, Nothings free..So if someone offers you free samples..Just smile,Not,and lock the door. lol.
 
I love this episode, it's definitely one of my favourites. I love the part when Buffy kisses Angel on the ice rink and he's all vamped out. I don't know why, I just found it very touching and tender, because Angel was obviously so distressed by his face looking that way and to Buffy it didn't matter.
 
Oh that episode have one of the most beautiful Bangel scenes.When they are in church and she puts him in her arms and look at him with so much love.That is so beautiful.

What's my line? pt1

The Good;
Love Buffy's miniskirt and booties, very hot. The neighbours scream blending into the plane's engine noise. Will and Oz, awwww! Buffy ice-skating, you wonder who's better now, SMG or Michelle 'Ice Princess' Tractenberg? Or maybe Julie Benz who is also apparently was once rated 12th best in the US. Buffy's gesture with the torch when Giles suggests she consider law enforcement as a career. Death by iceskate! Buffy's paranoia as she walks through careers day. The Xander/Snyder faceoff. Cordy's little expression at the thought of free cosmetics. Buffy's look of shock at the final line.

The Bad;
Kendra's accent for one although if she was taken from her parents as a child and raised in the UK you'd expect it to be a mishmash.

Best line;
Cordy; What am I, mass transportation?
Xander; That's what guys say but it's just locker room talk

Questions and observations;
A small town like Sunnydale must have a pretty huge airport to handle a 747? Why has no one tried to hire the Order of Taraka before now? Willy the Snitch for the first time. Angel tortures him, of course. Xander refers to the Scooby gang for the first time. First sign of Will's frog fear. Is this the first appearance of Mr Gordo? Also Dalton who will reappear as Spike's lackey in future eps. Xander breaks into Buffy's house very easily,for such a dangerous town everyone seems very slack. What happened to the Slayer rule about not killing humans, Kendra tries to kill Buff with the axe.
10/10 great stuff
 
I love this two parter! It's classic Buffy for me.

In regards to your questions and stuff - I think it is the first time we see Mr Gordo. For a second I thought it was actually the ep 'Angel' but I got my Angel-in-Buffy's-bedroom scenes muddled up! 😛
And bout the Kendra trying to kill Buffy thing, its cleared up in the next episode...can't remember if this is your first watch or if you've seen it all before, cos I don't wanna spoil anything, no matter how small!

Yeah, Kendra's accent is a bit naff, I never used to think it was until I got a bit older! Ha!
 
I liked the episode, but there are two things that bother me. One is Kendra's accent, of course, we all seem to be in agreement about that here, but the other is that Buffy seems very keen to kiss Angel with his face vamped out. I actually found that a little disturbing.

well she kissed him cause she loved Angel...as he is...she loved his soul...she didn't care about the vamp face
Well Buffy kissing Angel vamped out didn't seem weird to me, she was totally in love. Anyway, episode was ok, just average. Although Spike was great as usual(his scene with willy)lol. Order of Taraka was kinda lame.
