The upgrade and merger is conplete. There are a couple new features at this time, but probably more will be added in the near future now that the overall upgrade is complete.

Please consult the updated FAQ before asking questions about the new features.

- Tru Calling avatars have been added, as well as a few others. Yes, more will be added later, so please do not ask for them.

- 4 Tru Calling color schemes have been added. Again, yes more Buffy/Angel ones will be added later, so again please do not ask for them because we will ignore you.

- Points Hack. Total can only be added or subtracted from by a mod. We do not have a plan on what we are going to use this for yet, so please don't ask. We will let you know when we know.

- Report Private Message option.

- Change to Karma / Reputation. Now when you leave a comment, it will display in that post. Please use this instead of posting messages like "I agree!" in posts to keep things orderly.

- If you have an account at trucalling.net/after-darkness.com, and you used the same email at both sites when you registered, your accounts have been merged. If you accounts did not get merged, you can post in the Account Merge Request Thread and we will merge them. Please do not pm us about it. Please see this thread for more information for TruCalling board members.


I am working on the requested popup notification when you receive karma points.

Please let us know of any problems or questions (after you have looked to see if it is answered in the FAQ).

I just adding a new feature where you can set your status in your profile and it will show in your posts while you are logged in (like Away, Busy, etc.)

I know you probaby know but theres 6668 avatars in "Delete me", about 12 work. Also I was only kidding about the schemes, they're great and there is plenty!

Not quite sure what this means, say we had a thread, "Is Willow the strongest" (which there has been before) we simply reply with Karma?

Just one thing Buffy, I still can't display my gender (not a euphemism for flashing btw🙂). I haven't been able to since the last upgrade...but I thought this one might enable it again.

That all sounds really cool, I don't really understand the whole Karma thing though...
 
Well,Karma is reputation. You can give members good or bad reputation by clicking on
the icon that is near to the # on the top of every post.
If what you don't understand is the new feature related to Karma,click here.
Read the last line in my post.Well,that's Karma.

It's not a thing to enable / disable. It's just not coded in on this one. I can see about doing it though.

This is a known issue that should be fixed shortly. 🙂

That's why they are in a category called "Delete Me".

No - if someone posts a pic, for example. Instead of 100 people posting "Thanks!" they can just add Karma and leave a note. If you want to post an opinion on something you can do so as normal. But no one wants to read 50 posts of "I agree"

The old style layout had the wrong field number in it. It's not odd, its a point hack. Someone requested it a bit ago so I wrote one for this version of vbulletin. We used to use it at lotr-boards to buy custom avatars and things.

While on the topic of reputation (okay we weren't but lets not complain), how long does it take until we can re-rep someone?

Any specific amount, as ive been spreading my reputation around more then some girls at school.

Also, whats the "Thank You" button about? I presumed it would be a way of giving rep or something but apparently dont have access, or is it another "we're working on it, be patient" things?

Ya know,the 'Store' thing. I know how to use it cuz Karma has that feature too😛. If you click on 'Store' and then on 'Thief' you can steal other member's points😉. Don't steal me!!!:lol2:...bah,I lost my points anyway lol😛

It has nothing to do with rep. Don't you think I would have posted about it, and you would have permission to use it, if it were active?

Can you all just please be patient and I will explain things when they are finished being installed.
