Now that Tru Calling is ending (which is a bummer, cause I only started to watch it last Thursday :bluecry: ) what do you think Eliza will do next? I've heard a few people say her career (spelling?) is done with.... But I tend to disagree.

Do you think she'll just do movies from time to time, a new show, or perhaps (hopefully) a Faith spin-off?

I'll always hope for a Faith spin-off but I find it doubtful 🙁.

I also disagree about her career. I think there's plenty left in her yet. I think now she'll start to steer away from the teeny movies and take some more roles like 'Gina' in City by the sea, which will certainly show off her acting abilities more.

She hasn't done anything since That 70s Show, who knows, maybe she has something in the pipelnie. Perhaps shes taking a break, shes been working a lot since 2003. She went back to Angel and Buffy, did two films, recorded her voice for Chaos Bleeds, did Tru Calling, That 70s Show and a few talk shows.

Faith spin-off is what I really want though.

I'd say "Get a new manager for crying out loud!"
(I'm not sure "manager" is the right and/or hip word to use but I couldn't come up with anything else)

I would have loved another Tru season. Too bad that ain't gonna happen. And of course I'd love a Faith spin-off.. Oh my gosh i think I could rest in peace if that would happen. I definitely agree with pyro on City by the sea. I didn't like the movie at all but Eliza was really great in it. I say she scores some box office hits for once and maybe get her own talk show in the future.

Talk show? Really? Can't really see her in a talk show, but then again who would have thought that Ricki Lake would end in a talk show?!

And on the manager thing. Yes! What's she doing? She hasn't done anything for a long time and she's not even involved in any up coming projects.

I love her, but I don't see her face in something new quite soon I'm gonna have to declare her a fallen star. She will always be a superstar (in my eyes), but she's fallin.

Well, i would have to say to anyone who thinks her career is over ... HUH????? You do know she is still in her twenties right! Some actresses don't get their first big break until well after that. Even if Eliza goes through a quiet period she still has the majority of her life for a comeback, maybe an even more successful one.

I'd love to see her reprise Faith sometime soon though.

Well Hollywood is a harsh place. She needs to show us her face again otherwise we might just start believing that it was all an illusion ;D

Oh, a Faith spin off would be so awesome! I need more! I dont think thats gonna happen though. And I agree with The Watcher. Even if we dont see her for a while, she'll come back 🙂

That's what I'm saying! No one would have thought, when seeing Hairspray, that Ricki Lake would become this white trash/ghetto queen with her talkshow. If friggin Sharon Osbourne, with no sence of humour or manners for that matter, can have her own talk show, I'd say go for it Eliza! I think she'd be great. She could even sit behind a desk, that would be neat.

But she has to stand up now and then. I want my Eliza mobile. I've given it some thought and I could see her in a talk show. Perhaps the female version of Conan O'Brien. Not treating her guests as if they were complete morrons and retards like Leno (sorry got an issue with Leno).

But seriously I'd love to see her in anything new. I'd evern sit through another Soul Surivor if it meant I got to see some new Eliza.

When I was thinking about a talk show and the desk, I actually hade Conan in mind, I think she would be great in something like that.
I've got an issue with Leno too so... I know what you're saying.

I'm not sure if I could deal with a Soul Survivor II but I'd fast forward to the parts where Eliza's on the screen or something. I wonder if comedy could be her thing, she's a funny gal.

Comedy? I was thinking more Drama. She's got some potential to do some real good drama, because she has something think it might be charisma that makes it really hard not to feel for her and like her. Something that could really come in handy as the protagonist of a drama.

And I almost a bit ashamed to admit it, but I'd like to see her in a romcom. She's done a bunch of high school thingies, but now I'd like to see her in a typical Sandra Bullock or Drew Barrymore role. Just something silly that can draw a big crowd and let us see how she works as an adult. So far she's only done high school/college, now I want to see her as an adult.

Faithy
OH!! I totally agree. ED is amazing, and is meant for Drama no doubt, but it would be cute to see her in a Romantic Comedy.
Eliza has got a few horror flicks coming up, including;

Dark Ride
Ten years after he brutally murdered two girls, a killer escapes from a mental institution and returns to his turf, the theme park attraction called Dark Ride. About to crash his path are a group of college kids on a road trip who stumble across the park.
Plays: Selina Rivers

Nobel Son
When the American researcher Eli wins the Nobel Prize, he decides to travel to Stockholm with his wife, Sarah and his son, Barkley, an unsuccessful writer. But Barkley is kidnapped by Thaddeus, who reveals to be Eli's son. Now, Thaddeus wants to displace Barkley of its place of "genuine" son. The two sons start a fight that not only involves money but also Barkleys girlfriend, City Hall.
Plays: City Hall

The House
A group of college students go deep into the Matchmaker woods of Indiana to discover "The House" a cryptic mansion haunted by the evil killer clown, Pennywise.
Plays: Monica Davon

The After Killer
A group of medical students find themselves systematically hunted down by a mysterious killer after they allow one of their patients to die.
Plays: Rachel

Well a couple of those sound interesting! Definitely the sort of thing I'd go and see.

Dark Ride sounds really cool, I will definitely go see this!!

The House sounds a bit silly really! I mean a killer clown!!! So over done, anyone remember Stephen Kings, IT.

The Patient sounds interesting but a bit Flatliners what with the hunting thing... should be good though! I'm a horror flick addict.

I heard..

I heard Eliza Dushku is filming two movies. One action and one horror so I guess she's gonna be seen quite a bit!

Weren't overly excited by the rest of the cast besides in the Nobel Son thing, but I'm glad that she's finally showing her face in Hollywood again. Perhaps it's time for my Eliza obbsession to bloom again.

Evil killer clown, Pennywise lol, could be fun as well.

Isn't Pennywise the Clown the clown from the Steven King movie IT?

I seem to recall that it is!

Does anyone know when these are going to be released? I'm glad that Eliza is doing more projects. I think she's great.

Sorry no idea, but check imdb for updates. Two of the projects were already finished whereas the other two were in production.

Pennywise does sound familiar, but don't know if it's It.
