I somehow landed up on a link to now-defunct web forum from the early 00s. I plugged it into the Internet Archive and sure enough there are some saved pages. One of the related ones caught my eye, and I had to revive it.
Feast yer eyes on how denizens of the interwebs used to communicate. Before the Twitter Caveman-speak evolved.
This is a rather amusing and biting bit of satire on the capitalization for political gain that follows any tragic event. It specifically was born from an irk of the practice after the 9/11 attacks, but the story is still the same today after any mass shooting.
You might get a laugh out of this as I did.
